You know, being a teenager these days is wild. You're told to "speak up for yourself," but the second you actually call out the BS, suddenly you're "disrespectful." Like, sorry, I thought honesty was a virtue, not a crime!
And the adults? Oh, they love to preach about trust and safety, but half the time they're just projecting their own issues onto us. They say, "You can talk to me about anything," but the moment you do, they act like you just confessed to a felony. Newsflash: I'm not the one who needs therapy here!
It's funny—these are the same people who were told to "respect their elders" and "never question authority." No wonder they're so good at ignoring the obvious. They were groomed to play along, and now they expect us to clap for the same tired performance.
