UK:GSW Chapter 387 – Obito and Itachi's Utter Ruin.jpg

When Uchiha Kei used mods in his genjutsu games, there was usually a degree of dark humor—but the base principle remained: no matter how hard the game was, players trapped inside could still clear it.

Even when he trapped Tobirama Senju in a full-immersion Dark Souls world with maxed-out difficulty, he still left him the possibility of clearing it—and Tobirama eventually did finish the game.

But when it came to Uchiha Itachi, things were different. This wasn't a challenge—it was punishment. And punishment meant there would be no fun to be had.

Thus was born a mixed "garbage world."

When Itachi regained his senses, he found he had reincarnated as a young girl. The memories left to him were that he had died after his trial and execution.

Now, he was suddenly in a world completely unlike the ninja world—a Western fantasy realm. He was a citizen of the capital of a kingdom, working as one of its guards.

While he was still stunned and trying to process this…

"What do you mean the Black Beast Mercenary Corps is attacking, we can't hold them, and the capital is about to fall?!"

Itachi was utterly confused, with no idea what was going on.

Reality gave him no time to think—he was pushed to the front lines to fight the Black Beast Mercenary Corps.

The result was, of course, a crushing defeat.

As a reincarnated girl with none of his former power, Itachi and the kingdom's army were routed. Then came the most feared torment that could befall a woman.

The mercenary commander, in his "magnanimity," always let his men enjoy the spoils first, keeping the final "turn" for himself.

Thus, Itachi suffered his first torment—and in that torment, he died for the first time.

When he came to again, he found himself reincarnated as yet another woman—this time in a city called Raccoon City, working as a police officer.

He saw a modern metropolis, learned of a country called America—the "most powerful, safest, most peaceful, and greatest nation in the world" (or so its media claimed).

And then…

"What? The dead are crawling out of the ground? Attacking the living? And the living they kill are either eaten or turned into these monsters? The chief wants us to grab weapons and fight them?!"

Soon, Itachi was on the front lines, facing hordes of rotting, screaming zombies.

Despite fighting desperately alongside his fellow officers, the sheer numbers broke their lines. The survivors retreated to a warehouse, where they found other survivors.

Following their duty, his fellow officers promised to protect them, and took Itachi along to scavenge for supplies.

Then came betrayal—the "survivors" were scum. His partner was killed on the spot, and the beautiful policewoman Itachi had become received the infamous treatment women get in apocalyptic worlds.

Once again, Itachi died.

And so began a cycle of reincarnating into various women, only to face disastrous situations soon after, ending each life in tragedy—either at the hands of enemies or by betrayal from those around him.

As the cycles went on, Itachi began to grow numb.

But whenever he grew numb, his memories would be sealed, allowing him to "forget" enough to face the next life anew. (Of course, the memories weren't truly gone—Uchiha Kei had sealed them, to be released later if needed.)

Then came a series of Souls-type worlds—Dark Souls, Demon's Souls, Elden Ring—with the difficulty maxed out. Though given the "protagonist" role, Itachi had none of the protagonist's talents or powers—only endless suffering.

Finally, he was made to experience failing to save the world through sheer incompetence—triggering the apocalypse. The despair and pain of this failure was compounded when he found he could not die even after the world ended.

In the post-apocalyptic hellscape, he endured punishments straight out of the eighteen levels of hell from mythology—rotating tortures with no release.

Sometimes, illusions would replay the Uchiha massacre, forcing him to watch "himself" slaughter the clan from the perspective of an onlooker and victim.

Now that he had accepted the bitter truth of his arrogance and error, these scenes became unending mental torture.

The calm façade was gone—only hysteria, despair, and pain remained. The worst part: he couldn't even die.

It was truly the ultimate suffering journey.

And this journey would continue—because compared to his crimes, what he'd suffered so far was nothing.

Kei even claimed he was being merciful.

Using game mods, Kei ensured that this greatest traitor in Uchiha history experienced what it meant to live wishing for death, and to die wishing for a crueler death.

He didn't hide his malice toward Itachi. As far as he was concerned, Itachi was born in malice—and such a birth deserved its rightful end.

When Itachi's mind and soul were completely broken, Kei would give him a new life and mission—turning him into a "repentance puppet" to work for him for eternity.

Because, as Kei said, he was just that kind.

Meanwhile, Obito's "ultimate humiliation" had been steadily progressing, now nearing its climax.

When Obito had been tormented to the point where words couldn't describe it, when his spirit was withered and numb, the sealed door finally opened.

Expecting the terrifying Uchiha Kei to come mock him, Obito instead saw someone else—someone from deep within his heart, someone long dead.

The reanimated Rin Nohara of World No. 2.

Yes—this was the final step in Kei's ultimate humiliation.

Obito refused to acknowledge the main world's Rin as his Rin?

Then Kei simply brought back his Rin.

And Rin would see exactly what kind of filth Obito had become.

Obito collapsed.

The final step of the humiliation was Rin's expression—a mix of sadness and indescribable emotion. Even for her, the scene was unbearable to witness.

For Obito, it was pain worse than death—reviving his dead nerves into a storm of rage and despair, as though he could unleash a million horsepower of chakra and obliterate the world in an instant.

But he couldn't. The seals on him were no joke. And in that moment of emotional collapse, Kei hit him with Mangekyo genjutsu, dragging his will into a genjutsu world.

The content: endlessly repeating the ultimate humiliation.

Each cycle, Obito would forget what had happened, keeping only the memories from before the humiliation—and with a "pure" mind, he'd experience it again.

When his mind broke, the seal would release, letting him remember everything. Then, in the peak of despair, the loop would start over.

This was the true ultimate humiliation for Obito.

Endless pain, an eternal spiral, an unescapable hell—exactly what he deserved.

While these two Uchiha were each "receiving" their rightful fates, envoys from other villages arrived in the Hidden Leaf to discuss the export of the genjutsu games—and, on the side, matters regarding the Akatsuki.

By this point, thanks to Black Zetsu's actions, Nagato and Konan had fled and were undergoing a round of "upgrades," so they hadn't attacked the Leaf. But other villages had been hit—most jinchuriki captured, leaving only the Eight-Tails in the Hidden Cloud and the Nine-Tails in the Leaf still free.

The Akatsuki's infamy was now global. In contrast to the "original," where the Five Kage Summit was called after the attack on the Hidden Leaf and the capture of the Eight-Tails, things were now only one step away.

In the original, they'd only gotten one of the Eight-Tails' tentacles, with Killer B escaping to have fun. The Hidden Cloud didn't know this, assumed he'd been captured, and the Fourth Raikage was enraged—leading to orders to hunt Sasuke and the infamous "Naruto gets punched and kneels in the snow" scene.

Now, the main world's Leaf had already altered the timeline drastically. The Five Kage Summit would still happen, but for different reasons.

Of course, if Nagato finished his upgrades and attacked the Hidden Cloud, capturing Killer B, the Fourth Raikage would still explode and demand the summit.

For now, the topic was genjutsu game exports. Even without a genjutsu network, the LAN-enabled and single-player games alone had effects and benefits too great for other villages to refuse.

The benefits might not be top-tier, but if every other village had them and you didn't—it was unacceptable.

If others have what we don't, it's a crime against the village.

So even knowing the high cost of importing them, the great villages had to keep up—another form of arms race.

The Leaf of World No. 2 was open to exports—per the main world's request. Payment would be part money, part resources.

The resources were for the main world's Leaf—because as their development continued, so did their industrialization.

Industrialization is a resource black hole. Even though the main world's Leaf had a unique "ninja-style" industrialization—combining chakra capabilities with production, skipping over the usual manpower and material shortages—the resource needs were huge.

Now, their industrial tech was at the level of the early Second Industrial Revolution British Empire.

It might sound modest, but remember—the main world's Leaf was still just one city. Competing with the British Empire at its height was absurd.

Chakra tech truly was miraculous.

And the miracles would keep coming—Puppet Master Sasori's continuous upgrades meant large-scale use of puppets as labor would soon be possible, leaping straight into a ninja-style age of intelligent industry.

Kei couldn't make sense of it anymore. After some thought, he decided to just trust others with it.

With the Learning Space available, people could research on their own when problems arose.

Kei's job was to keep being the entertainer.

And then, Black Zetsu made his move.

Not the Black Zetsu of World No. 2—but the main world's Black Zetsu.

He'd been secretly stirring trouble for days, trying to rally forces to attack the Leaf. Though he kept contact with World No. 2, his moves were constantly monitored.

Now, he was at the critical point—some forces were ready to act.

Not from another great village, nor from the Fire Daimyo, but from a "movie-only" force: the Sky Ninja Village.
