Shindai muttered to himself as he stood up and said to Pakura and Hikaku Uchiha, "Asu Natsuka, Pakura, get ready to lend me your chakra. I'm going to team up with Obito and drive the Nine-Tails out of Konoha!"
Shindai launched himself upward and flew outside the village.
Once outside Konoha, Shindai pulled several devices from his gear bag and threw them onto the ground.
Upon impact, the devices firmly adhered to the surface.
Standing at the center of the devices, Shindai formed hand seals and pressed both palms onto the ground.
[Magnet Release!] Gravitational Magnetic Field!
Instantly, all the ninja tools in Shindai's ninja gear pouch became stuck to the ground.
By activating these devices and aligning them with Earth's natural magnetic field, Shindai greatly intensified the magnetic pull in the area.
Then Shindai flew toward where the Nine-Tails was, and through his earbuds, he spoke to Obito, "Obito! Can you send that Nine-Tails flying?"
At this moment, Obito was locked in a grappling match with the Nine-Tails using his Susanoo, slowly pushing it toward the outskirts of Konoha with the help of the other ninjas.
Straining, Obito answered, "It's hard, but maybe if I enter the fourth stage of Susanoo I could do it. However, maintaining the fourth-stage Susanoo drains too much chakra. It might only last for one strike before my Susanoo disappears completely."

"Leave it to me! Asu Natsuka! Lend me your chakra—and Pakura's too!"
Instantly, Shindai's body was filled with a surge of intense chakra.
Shindai pressed both hands onto the Nine-Tails.

Shindai amplified the magnetic force on the Nine-Tails. With no leverage in midair, the beast was pulled out of the village by the powerful magnetic field beyond the borders.
Seeing the Nine-Tails being pulled outside, the people of Konoha burst into cheers.
Hiruzen wiped the sweat from his brow—he knew they had finally driven the Nine-Tails out of Konoha.
Drained of chakra once again, Shindai fell from the sky along with an equally exhausted Obito.
"Shindai, fly already—we're gonna hit the ground!"
"I can't even muster up the strength right now!"
"Are we really just gonna crash and die? No way! I finally made a cool move in front of Rin, and I wanted to hear her praise me! Think of something, quick!"
"Do you think I'm all-powerful or something? I can't do anything either at this point!"
Just before hitting the ground, Kakashi appeared between them, grabbing each by one hand. "You two look energetic enough. Guess I don't need to worry about you after all."
Kakashi landed safely with Shindai and Obito on the ground.
Uchiha Hikaku and Pakura rushed over to Shindai, patting him down anxiously: "Are you hurt anywhere, Shindai?"
Shindai curled himself into a ball: "Stop touching me—I suspect you're both trying to grope me!"
"Huff."
Uchiha Hikaku and Pakura simultaneously exhaled in relief. If he was cracking jokes, things couldn't be that bad.
"Obito!"
Still wearing a slightly sour expression, Obito suddenly heard what sounded like heavenly music to his ears.
Rin Nohara ran over to stand in front of him, worriedly asking, "Obito, are you hurt?"
The sour look vanished from Obito's face in an instant as he proudly replied, "Not a scratch! Pretty cool, huh, Rin?"
Upon hearing that Obito wasn't injured, Rin visibly relaxed and smiled. "You were awesome."
Might Guy, Kurenai Yuhi, Ebisu, Aoba Yamashiro, Hayate Gekko, and several others rushed over, showering Shindai and Obito with compliments.
Shindai and Obito wore expressions of obvious satisfaction.

Might Guy declared passionately, "Let Shindai and Obito rest here. We should head back out—the Nine-Tails has only been forced outside the village but hasn't been defeated yet."
"Right!"
As everyone enthusiastically prepared to leave, they were stopped by Hiruzen Sarutobi and others heading toward the outskirts of Konoha.
"You all stay in the village!"
Kurenai Yuhi asked in confusion, "Huh? Why?"
"The village is already in ruins. You should stay here and help other ninjas treat the wounded. You are the younger generation — the future pillar of Konoha. Your lives are precious. Leave Nine-Tails to us!"
Hiruzen Sarutobi led the group out of Konoha Village once again to confront Nine-Tails.
Outside Konoha, Nine-Tails, trapped within a gravitational field, smashed one of the magnetic restraints with its tail. The concentrated Earth's natural magnetic field scattered as a result, making it impossible to hold Nine-Tails in place.
However, Hiruzen Sarutobi and the others joined forces to drive Nine-Tails a short distance further away from Konoha.
Yet again, Nine-Tails began gathering a Tailed Beast Ball in its mouth, aiming to fire it into Konoha.
Minato Namikaze, with nearly depleted chakra, saw the Tailed Beast Ball forming in Nine-Tails' mouth and muttered under his breath, anxiously, "This guy still won't give up!"
[Summoning Jutsu!]
Gamabunta descended from the sky, crashing onto Nine-Tails. Minato Namikaze stood atop Gamabunta's head.
Minato asked Gamabunta, "I need you to hold Nine-Tails down for a moment."
Watching Nine-Tails continuing to gather energy for the Tailed Beast Ball, Gamabunta shuddered nervously, "Even I can't control this beast!"
Minato was extremely worried.
To redirect such a massive attack would consume enormous chakra. He had just redirected one before, so his chakra reserves were low now.
But there was no choice; he had to redirect it no matter how much chakra it cost.
Gamabunta suddenly felt his connection sever as Nine-Tails and Minato vanished.
