He wondered: if a purely positive magnetic field and a purely negative one came into contact, would they simply attract each other?
Using his Magnet Release, Shindai created both a positive and a negative magnetic field. Sparks flew from both as they drew near, indeed attracting and merging with each other.
However, at the point of contact, the current suddenly vanished, unleashing a powerful force that violently pushed Shindai backward, slamming his back against the wall.

Having already gotten both the departure permit and the scroll detailing how to break the Seal, Shindai replied dismissively, "I'm just interested. Gonna go find Pakura now. Later!"
Kushina made an annoyed sound, "Tch! That kid really acts all sweet when he wants something, but the second he gets it, he's gone."
Minato smiled warmly, "Come on now, I do trust Shindai's abilities. Let him go, Kushina. Come and try the miso soup I made."
"Okay~"
Kushina's face instantly lit up with a smile as she ran over to Minato's side, becoming affectionate and sweet.
After heading home and packing a few things, Shindai left his house and found Pakura, who was currently managing the Shop.
"Pakura, I'll be leaving Konoha for a few days. Hey, Kabuto, you're here too~"
Kabuto Yakushi, who was placing merchandise on shelves, greeted Shindai: "Hello, Aniki Shindai!"
Pakura warned Shindai, "I understand. But take care, and don't get yourself into trouble."
"I know! Bye-bye."
With the departure permit Minato had given him, Shindai smoothly left Konoha Village.
Two more days passed.
Shindai was already nearing the border between the Land of Fire and the Grass Country. Judging by his pace, he estimated another day's journey would bring him to his destination.
Meanwhile back in Konoha...
Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki had spent two quite wonderful days together.
Minato Namikaze still had three days left out of his seven-day leave.
With Hiruzen Sarutobi around, Minato had nothing to worry about. If not for being too embarrassed, he would've asked for a month's leave!
As Minato was thinking about how to spend the day with Kushina Uzumaki, someone knocked on the door.
He opened it and saw an unexpected visitor—Clan Leader Fugaku Uchiha.
"I'm sorry to disturb the Fourth Hokage's leave," Fugaku apologized. "I'd like to speak with the Fourth if that's convenient."
Minato immediately understood what Fugaku wanted to discuss. With a bright smile, he said, "Of course. Please come in."
Kushina, understanding the situation, knew that Fugaku must have important matters to discuss with Minato alone.
So after pouring tea for both Fugaku Uchiha and Minato, she went to Pakura's shop.
After sipping his tea, Fugaku said, "Fourth, I've given serious thought to what you mentioned the other day. I hope we can work together to improve the relationship between the Uchiha clan and the village."
Smiling, Minato replied, "If Clan Leader Fugaku is willing, I'll be sure to do everything I can."
