Chapter 2 - Test

Li Ming laughed as he saw the change in his potential. Without wasting time, he started practicing the Tiger Fist again, his movements stronger and more confident than before.

An hour later, he sat down on the ground, breathing heavily from exhaustion. But despite the sweat on his face, his eyes sparkled with a joy he had never felt since arriving in this world.

With his current strength, he felt that he could easily defeat three or four adult men. And this was only the beginning he was still at the lowest level of cultivation. Just imagining how powerful he could become in the future made his heart beat faster.

Clenching his fists with excitement, he opened his panel once more.

[Name: Li Ming]

Martial Arts Cultivation: Early Stage of Skin Refining

Martial Arts: Tiger Fist (Trash Quality)

Stage: Entering the Gate (2/200)

Potential: Average (110)

Looking at the panel, Li Ming's happiness only grew.

He clearly remembered how difficult it had been to increase even a single point before. Back when his potential was still at the Trash level, it had taken him two full hours of training just to improve by one point. Now, in just one hour, he had gained two points.

"My progress has nearly quadrupled," he thought, a proud smile forming on his face. "In this small city, I might even be called a minor genius now."

With his current strength and speed of improvement, he felt confident. "Becoming a guard of the Mo Clan… I can definitely do it."

Feeling satisfied, he ate a simple meal and went to bed, full of hope for tomorrow.

The next morning…

In the large courtyard of the Mo Clan, fifteen young men stood in a straight line. Their faces were serious, their backs stiff. Today was the day of the martial arts test.

Soon, two middle-aged men entered the courtyard. One of them had a sword hanging at his waist, the blade quietly resting in its sheath, yet giving off a faint, sharp presence.

As the two men approached, the fifteen trainees bowed respectfully.

The man with the sword waved his hand and shouted loudly, "Today is your test. Those who fail will lose this opportunity forever."

Upon hearing this, many of the young men looked nervous. Their expressions tensed, and some even clenched their fists in anxiety.

But the sword-wielding man didn't care. His sharp eyes turned to the man beside him.

"Master Chen Da, this is the new batch. Please begin."

With a calm smile, Master Chen Da stepped forward and looked at the trainees.

"You fifteen, come to me one by one," he said, his voice relaxed yet powerful.

Then, pointing to one of the young men in the group, he said, "You, attack me."

The chosen young man stepped forward, sweat already forming on his forehead. He took a deep breath, tried to steady himself, and launched a Tiger Fist attack toward Chen Da.

But before the punch could even land properly, Master Chen Da's hand moved like lightning. He caught the punch with ease and then threw the man aside like a leaf in the wind.

The young man landed with a dull thud, groaning in pain.

"Failed," Chen Da said coldly. "Next."
