Chapter 9 - The puppetmaster

Red Widow sat in a dark room bathed in the glow of multiple screens, each one streaming endless lines of code, surveillance feeds, and encrypted messages.

Her fingers flew over the keyboard, eyes sharp, calculating.

She wasn't just a hacker.

She was a ghost.

A whisper in Aurora High's veins.

Her phone buzzed.

A new message from Sera:

> *"Kairo's slipping. What's next?"*

Red smiled — cold, controlled.

She tapped a reply:

> *"He's predictable. Watch for the cracks. I'll open the doors. You just walk through."*

Suddenly, one screen flickered — revealing Kairo's face, tense, watching security footage.

Red's fingers danced over her keyboard.

She pulled up a file labeled:

>PROJECT CRIMSON

Inside, schematics of the school, hidden rooms, and secret cameras.

"This," she whispered, "is where the game changes."

She leaned back, eyes scanning the code.

"Let the king believe he's hunting a ghost," she murmured. "But I'm the one who's always pulling the strings."

Outside, rain hammered the windows.

Inside, a smile spread across Red Widow's lips.

"Let the fire burn."
