Bo'er opened his eyes, picked up the mechanical prosthetic leg by his bed, and attached it to his right leg. He cherished the prosthetic in his hand, polishing the metal surface to a shine and applying oil regularly to prevent the gears within from aging and rusting.
This prosthetic leg was custom-made for him by Mechanical Priest Kregan. As one of the earliest adherents of the Divine Terra Church, Bo'er received the favor and assistance of the church priests.
"Praise Divine Terra."
"Praise the Messiah!"
Bo'er got dressed, kneeled on one knee in front of a small shrine, and began his morning prayers. After finishing his prayers, he picked up the black umbrella by the door, put on a hat, and pushed the door open to leave.
"Mother, I'm going to work."
