With a slightly playful tone, Shawn made Benjamin in front of him smile.
Behind Benjamin was Daisy, her eyes darting around. Shawn suspected she didn't actually have social anxiety, she just rarely interacted with people before, and ordinary people couldn't get along with her.
"I brought you some grilled cheese rolls." Daisy said cheerfully, lifting up a bag.
Shawn reached out to take it and said, "Thanks."
"How's that man from yesterday?"
Benjamin took off his hat and hung his coat to the side, saying, "He's fine for now, already sent to the psychologist."
"However, because of the ritual, he unconsciously digested a part of the Extraordinary Essence."
"He might not be able to live an ordinary life in the future."
