The concept of occupation is used to limit mortals.
For powerful Divine Spirits, occupation progression is merely a method to wield their power. If they want, they can switch to different occupation systems at any time.
The power exhibited by the Gloomy Maiden Elise at this moment is already beyond the normal scope of an occupier.
Elise often wandered the mortal world in many incarnations. Her most frequently used form was that of a Level 30 Minstrel, but occasionally she also used an incarnation with a Level 25 Priest. Besides that, Elise also possesses the abilities of a Legendary Ranger and a Legendary Warrior (Sword Dancer).
Her nature is quite similar to how Duncan switches occupation systems in his Human Form.
By activating whichever power she masters, the incarnation gains the corresponding occupation level, and the more power you infuse, the higher the occupation level of the incarnation.
