Opposite him stood three figures.
A gentle silhouette, a lazy shadow sitting backwards on a mount, and a tall man with a fierce aura dressed in a wide Daoist robe.
"You all chose him?"
"I cannot intervene with him, but he is not the one destined for calamity."
The candle flame spoke.
"He did not choose us; rather, he is choosing us."
"None of this was ever a limitation," the gentle silhouette said softly.
The White Jade Candle Flame burned slowly, holding an ancient presence: "Too early, he knows all this too early, he is still very weak."
"But he won't stay weak forever!"
The tall man spoke forcefully, four hovering sword shadows behind him, as if ready to slay the heavens and earth.
"This doesn't comply with the rules."
The candle flame said.
"I am supposed to wait for the one who averts calamity, but he is not; he is an exception. By the rules, I should erase his memory, and if I cannot, I would need to...."
