The old man sat in the car, glanced at Aurelia, his look meaningful and profound.
Aurelia could not quite understand the look.
"See you again if fate allows." The old man's voice drifted away along with the vintage car.
Aurelia found this remark rather perplexing.
Watching the car drive away, Amanda Fuller was stunned, "It's... it's just gone?"
Aurelia patted her shoulder, "Yes!"
"Did we... rescue a rich man?" Although Amanda didn't recognize the car, her intuition suggested it was expensive, especially if it was genuinely decades old.
"Probably." Aurelia did not think much of it, she just felt the man resembled a grandfather, so she helped without further thought; she wasn't interested in strangers.
"Let's go, I'm so tired."
"You actually know fatigue." Amanda glanced at the time, it was already close to midnight, they'd been searching since five in the afternoon until now.
"Aurelia, does this count as doing a good deed?" Amanda laughed.
"Probably." Aurelia responded.
