Mason cursed at himself internally, wondering if his resistance had weakened from a lack of female contact. His slightly calloused hand reached over, touching the fabric of her nightgown, his fingertips trembling, and a fine layer of sweat emerged on his palm.
"Mason, are you nervous?" The soft voice suddenly sounded.
Mason's fingers froze, his face darkening, and he replied in a deep voice with just two words, "I'm not!"
"Oh." Aurelia responded, then urged him, "Hurry up, my arms are getting sore from holding them up."
