Yin Tianshen truly had a prophetic vision; Qiu Zi indeed waited until the day she married him before letting him have his way.
To be able to enjoy the moment sooner, the day after that meal, Yin Tianshen brought all his possessions to Qiu Zi's hometown to formally propose to her.
In fact, Yin Tianshen himself thought that proposing was quite an old-fashioned thing to do; in his view, marriage was always between two people. He loved Qiu Zi, and she loved him. For two people in love to eventually marry was a natural progression.
However, Yin Tianshen also understood the situation in Qiu Zi's hometown. To give Qiu Zi and his future mother-in-law a sense of pride, he specifically chose to propose at Old Mrs. Lu's house.
