"The same as yesterday." Leng Yichen said to the bartender as he sat at the bar.
Since he had been coming frequently these past few days, the bartender naturally poured Leng Yichen a glass of Martell XO, without ice, and handed it to him.
Bai Yiran walked into the bar. It was her first time coming to the bar in a star-rated hotel, and she knew with just a thought that the prices of drinks here were at least double those outside. But she didn't care; she was rich and wanted to indulge!
Bai Yiran's arrival quickly became the focus of the gentlemen in the bar, with even a table of foreigners whistling at her. Bai Yiran glanced around before directly walking to the bar to sit down.
"Give me a bottle of Louis XIII!" Bai Yiran vaguely recalled that Bai Hongguang once had a bottle of Louis XIII, which seemed quite expensive, so she blurted it out.
The bartender was taken aback, looking at Bai Yiran, "Ma'am, are you sure you want a bottle of Louis XIII?"
Never mind that the price was nearly thirty thousand, she didn't seem like someone who could drink an entire bottle.
"Yes, is there a problem?" Bai Yiran looked at the bartender, her eyes filled with determination, as if implying that if he didn't let her drink, she would cause a scene.
The bartender smiled, his gaze filled with amazement and skepticism, "No problem." Swiftly, he took out the bottle, opened it, and poured a glass for Bai Yiran.
Following the bartender's gaze, Leng Yichen turned around and immediately saw Bai Yiran in a red cocktail dress.
Leng Yichen was slightly surprised—wasn't this the girl he saw at the café last time?
Bai Yiran looked at the glass of wine, seemingly brewing her emotions and making up her mind. Finally, she abruptly tilted her head back and drank the whole glass in one go. She then poured herself another glass, drank it down again, and then another, consecutively downing three glasses.
The wine wasn't good; it was probably the worst thing Bai Yiran had ever drunk. She didn't understand why people wanted to drink when they were upset, but gradually, she began to understand.
After the third glass, Bai Yiran's face began to turn a vivid pink, and her gaze started to blur. She felt like she was beginning to float, her head dizzy.
The men drowning their sorrows in the bar began to stir, eyeing Bai Yiran like starving wolves, as if she were their post-drink treat.
The bartender had never seen anyone drink such expensive alcohol like water. This was his first time witnessing it, and it was done by a girl who looked so young.
Leng Yichen was equally shocked. On her last visit to the café, this girl found a glass of juice priced in the tens of dollars extravagant, yet now she was drinking alcohol worth tens of thousands like water? Clearly, she wasn't someone used to drinking.
Just as Bai Yiran prepared to drink her fourth glass, Leng Yichen grabbed her arm.
"You shouldn't drink anymore." Leng Yichen's voice was pleasant; the kind that would make one fall into a trance.
Bai Yiran looked at Leng Yichen with dreamy eyes, "Who are you? Why do you care? I'm paying for it!" With that, Bai Yiran took out a card from her bag and slapped it on the table, "There's 120,000 in here! It's what I've saved over the past few years, the password is..."
"Hey, hey! Okay, stop talking." Leng Yichen hurriedly interrupted, taking the cup from Bai Yiran's hand and instructed the bartender to pour her a glass of lemon water.
Bai Yiran, however, knocked over the lemon water and weakly leaned over the bar.
