This man is Wu Jun. Wu Jun has broken through to the early stage of Extreme Dao. Although he still can't defeat Kuang Chenggong, the gap between them isn't that large since they both have Extreme Dao strength.
It's like comparing an early stage Celestial Dao Seven-Star expert to a peak Celestial Dao Seven-Star expert. There is a gap, but it's not as significant as the gap between Celestial Dao Seven-Star Great Perfection and the early stage of Extreme Dao. After all, once you step over that threshold, the difference is just a matter of inner strength and cultivation technique.
Obviously, Kuang Chenggong can sense that Wu Jun's strength is formidable, making it impossible to defeat Wu Jun with a single move. But by exhausting him little by little, the difference in their abilities will become apparent.
