Then quickly said to Ruby Sheldon, "Betty, quickly apologize to Mr. Parker! How can you address Mr. Parker like that? You're being disrespectful!"
Ruby Sheldon stared at Aiden Sheldon, completely baffled as to why her father was reprimanding her.
In all her years, this was the first time Aiden had asked her to apologize to someone!
Who did this Quentin Parker think he was, that the daughter of the nation's wealthiest should apologize to him?!
She wasn't afraid of losing her fortune and longevity!
Ruby was inwardly seething with anger, her small hand clenched into a fist, her face quickly showing a grievance. She whispered, "…I'm sorry, Mr. Parker. I saw you looked so young and amiable, that's why I called you 'brother'. I didn't mean to offend..."
Quentin Parker did not say a word and turned to leave.
To Ruby Sheldon, this was practically a slap in the face.
