"Grandmaster Grandpa, how did you know it was me calling? I haven't even said anything yet!" Lawrence Winters perked up and asked curiously.
The old Daoist chuckled, "My phone has caller ID."
Lawrence Winters: "..."
Whoa! Totally forgot about that...
She also found it amusing.
Lawrence Winters put on her Bluetooth headset and placed her phone back into her small backpack, casually carrying it in her hand as she politely started the conversation, "Grandmaster Grandpa, how is your health? Is it hot in the mountains lately?"
The old Daoist touched his head, peered out at the green mountains and clear water through the window, and said with a smile, "Good, it's quite cool in the mountains now. It's like living in a giant natural air conditioner and it even adjusts the humidity."
"That sounds amazing!" Lawrence praised continuously, "Then I'm relieved. How are my mom and Master? They're doing well too, right?"
