Kenneth Osborne was still sitting on his bicycle, one leg propped on the ground and the other bent on the pedal, looking very relaxed and casual.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Lawrence Winters stealthily taking advantage of the distraction to move her feet and run towards the entrance of the dormitory building.
He chuckled to himself but kept a gentle smile on his face, saying, "Why are you asking this question?"
"Of course, I need to figure it out! If you don't have a girlfriend, doesn't that mean we still have a chance?" The girl boldly said, her bright eyes sparkling in the light.
Kenneth slightly raised an eyebrow, glancing subtly in Lawrence's direction to urge her to hurry into the dormitory, while he stayed back to deflect attention.
He looked as if he was pondering and after a moment, he smiled and said, "I'm really busy right now and don't have time for a girlfriend."
