The non-human form of the Desert Hunter, that Andrew had encountered before, was Ivan's "Little Ha".
Having left the Wildfire Territory for so long, Andrew occasionally thought of that giant husky-like dog and missed it quite a bit.
However, even Little Ha vastly differed in essence compared to the Black Whale in front of him.
The Desert Hunter, once the "Earth Fire Curse" within is lifted, becomes a truly complete "Deep Blue Guard". A Deep Blue Guard is a genuinely complete Water Element Warrior, corresponding to the Warm Fire Element's Crimson Knight, Earth-Fire Element's Flame Warrior, and the Ice Element's Frost Guard of the Royal Court.
Little Ha's aura was almost indistinguishable from an ordinary Desert Hunter's. But there was still quite a way to go before truly becoming a "Deep Blue Guard". It might never become a Deep Blue Guard like its master, Ivan.
