The beneficial and harmful insects inside the Mongolian Tent were all startled by the presence of humans, turning the entire tent into chaotic mayhem.
The grand Mr. Fox, who should have been making a mighty noise to show off his majestic presence, was instead hiding quietly under the table with a peculiar expression on his face.
"Still... you guys go ahead!"
"I'm all fluffy; it's a hassle to wash my hands after dealing with bats and lizards. You guys can just wipe it clean..."
Ansheng wasn't afraid of insects; he usually didn't harm them in the woods and fields unless they crawled onto his face because of long-held habits.
Just like the odd-looking centipede-like millipede or the centipede-like polydesmus, although they are very ugly and might be poisonous... they are truly beneficial insects.
House centipedes appear in areas infested with cockroaches and termites and take them down mercilessly.
