Kara's whereabouts have become increasingly mysterious lately.
For several days in a row, except for their regular meeting times, Roy could hardly find any trace of her.
There was even a time when Roy arrived at the study on time, only to see a room full of familiar yet chaotic books. Kara was absent, so she picked out a few books herself and took notes.
More than half an hour later, Kara finally appeared in her teacher's attire, tiredly taking off her glasses and letting down her hair, asking Roy which book she was reading that day.
"Are you injured?"
Roy noticed the long scar near Kara's right-hand pinky and casually cast a Healing Technique.
"It's nothing." Kara flexed her fingers, slightly furrowing her brows, "The bone is a bit hurt... forget it, it's not a big deal. Let's postpone research on the Forbidden Technique and do an impromptu test."
