To be honest, Roy really didn't want to get involved.
Lawrence was troublesome, and these people arguing over a soiled dress were troublesome too. She had already met the heroine and verified the story opening indeed had the encounter between Vivian and Theodore, so there was no need to stay here any longer.
"Ah, sorry." Roy held her head, revealing a weak and troubled smile, "I seem to have drunk too much and want to get some fresh air outside. Sir, could you help me downstairs?"
She extended a hand to Geoffrey.
Geoffrey lowered his lashes, bowed and clasped Roy's fingertips. There wasn't much emotion on his face; he behaved like a gentle and polite stranger.
"It's an honor."
The two of them went downstairs and out the door, and before leaving, Roy turned back and smiled apologetically.
Lawrence, who was largely ignored, angrily shook off Vivian's hand and was about to rush out to cause trouble for Roy. But Theodore had already walked over and stopped him coldly.
