Jerald reached out, traced two layers of the Abyss on the map from afar, and pulled them towards him, smiling as he said, "I didn't achieve as much as Speaker Francis, so I'll choose the forty-third, forty-fifth, and forty-seventh layers of the Abyss."
His contributions on the battlefield were average, but he worked hard initially to rescue Yasen and later managed the affairs of the Wizard World, making his claim to three layers of the Abyss reasonable.
Whether there would be objections to this was yet to be seen.
This was only a preliminary allocation. No one challenged Francis's territory, but others might not be so assured.
