"Hmm, I'll go ask." Sophie Wilson nodded and walked out.
"Why did you come over?" Sophie Wilson stood outside the private room and asked curiously.
She had told Charles Seymour that Clarissa was inviting her today, and he had shown no reaction, confidently allowing her to come alone.
So why did he follow her here?
"There's a client nearby to discuss with, I just finished, so I came over to eat." Charles Seymour said earnestly, without a hint of guilt, and Sophie Wilson naturally believed him.
"I'm having dinner here with Aunt Taylor; do you want to join us?"
"Won't it be an inconvenience?" Charles Seymour asked.
Sophie Wilson had just opened her mouth, not yet had a chance to speak, when she saw Charles Seymour already stepping into the private room, and then she heard his voice: "Sure."
Sophie Wilson blinked in confusion, feeling that... something seemed, somehow, a little off.
