This morning, Jieyou woke from her dreams, looking at Shi Nian with a sweet smile.
"Mommy, Jieyou dreamed of Daddy."
Shi Nian was slightly taken aback, first thinking of Tang Yanqing, but immediately understanding that her daughter was not talking about Tang Yanqing.
Her daughter used Chinese to call Tang Yanqing "Dad", but did not call him "Daddy".
In her daughter's heart, "Daddy" was always just that one person.
Shi Nian took a deep breath, suppressing the emotions within her, softly asking: "What did you dream Daddy was doing?"
Jieyou tilted her head and thought: "Daddy was wearing white clothes... with many people, smiling at them."
Shi Nian's heart ached: "Oh, yes, Daddy always wore white clothes."
Her gentleman was in heaven, where people originally wore white clothes, basking in the sunlight, no longer having to sit alone in the darkness.
Shi Nian held her daughter: "Did Daddy say anything?"
