Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Save Her

She was only wearing a simple lady's robe, and fearing that it might slip off, she reached out to grasp it tightly.

But these reporters were truly despicable and infuriating.

They rushed at her, attempting to strip her clothes, determined to ruin her life forever, and destroy her career in the entertainment industry!

*

Rewinding time to just a moment ago, Lucas Knight watched the woman's fleeing figure for two seconds before putting on a robe and stepping out of the room.

Nightfall Palace is currently the largest seven-star hotel in the Sovereign Empire, equipped with all entertainment facilities, and owned by the Knight Clan.

Just as he stepped out of the presidential suite's door, his personal bodyguard, Harry North, knelt on one knee and politely said: "Sir, it's my dereliction of duty that allowed the woman to break into your room. How do you want to handle the woman inside?"

"Shall we just throw her out, or...?"

Lucas Knight's dark eyes were like obsidian, seemingly insightful of everything, and his emotions were inscrutable as he coldly instructed, "We will go to the office on the top floor first. Keep me updated on her whereabouts at all times..."

Harry North: "Yes, sir."

Having received his orders, Harry North led all the bodyguards to escort Lucas Knight through the VIP passageway to the hotel's top floor.

About a few minutes later.

Upon reaching the hotel's top floor, while Lucas Knight was still engaged in an important video conference, who would have thought Harry North would suddenly burst in, lean in close to the man's ear, and report the journalists' intrusion into the presidential suite to Lucas Knight.

The man's gaze turned bloodthirsty and fierce.

"Dismissed!" He coldly and arrogantly left those two words, and cut off the video conference.

Everyone: "..."!!!

And just like that, Lucas Knight headed down from the hotel's top floor, making a beeline for the presidential suite.

He soon arrived at the presidential suite, and indeed saw the room crowded with reporters...

In the past, even given a hundred guts, they wouldn't dare behave so audaciously in the presidential suite, but this time was different: Isabelle Nightingale and her mother had specifically spent a fortune to deal with Eva Nightingale.

There's a saying in the industry: as long as the money is sufficient, nothing is impossible!

The reporters, completely oblivious to the anomaly, were still snapping away furiously: "Young Grant is engaged, are you unwilling to accept it?"

"Indeed, a woman like you doesn't deserve Young Grant!"

"Miss Isabelle Nightingale and Young Grant are the perfect match made in heaven; someone as indiscreet and lacking self-restraint as you, a fake heiress dreaming of marrying into the Grant Family..."

The reporters, many and strong, pushed and directly knocked Eva Nightingale down.

Suddenly.

A mysterious chill spread from behind the reporters.

Dozens of elite bodyguards in black suits stood orderly in two rows.

A tall and upright figure exuded an aura of nobility and restraint.

Even the previously inscrutable man now revealed a gaze as sharp as blades.

Very well, in no time at all, his private residence had been breached by a swarm of paparazzi, utterly intolerable.

The temperature around Lucas Knight was as cold as ice.

Using his height advantage, he spotted the disheveled woman in the corner with his deep and mysterious eyes!

She had a pair of captivating eyes, striking one's very soul.

Those eyes seemed so familiar...

Oh, even the brash woman just now could end up so cowed?

The reporters sensed a chilling vibe and, turning their heads in unison, they saw the cold and predatory gaze of the newcomer, causing their hands holding the cameras to go limp!

They fell to their knees with a "thud."

"Crown Prince, we apologize for our intrusion, please forgive us!"

"We will delete all these rumors, delete them immediately—"

The reporters had a foreboding sense of impending doom, shivering like errant grandchildren, kneeling and pleading for forgiveness.

Wasn't the informant saying the presidential suite was rented by an upstart?

Come out and explain to me! How is this man, whom we cannot afford to offend, anywhere near an upstart? In what way is he an upstart!

"Ha." Lucas Knight's lips curved slightly, letting out a single word, full of self-mockery.

Afraid of him?

If they feared him, how dared they behave so wantonly in his exclusive suite? Very well indeed.

He wore a simple robe, with a loosely tied belt at the waist, looking casual and laid-back, yet exuded a cold energy comparable to that of death.

His handsome face was utterly lacking in softness, and his deep eyes were like blades once again piercing the crowd!

Absolutely intolerable!

"Harry North, these people are a blight on the palace's sight! Take care of it!"

The man's innate nobility and pervasive cold aura made others instinctively shy away.

Though his words were calm, the reporters could tell that they were bound to be wiped out, obliterated from existence tonight.

"Rest assured, sir, I will ensure this is handled!" Harry North respectfully acknowledged, as these people were obstructing the Crown Prince's view, leaving only three words: eliminate without mercy!

Only then did Lucas Knight direct his icy gaze at the corner, walking toward the embarrassed woman ahead, bending down, and pulling her into his arms:

"Be good, next time anyone bullies you, make sure to pay it back doubly."
