Before Lilian, Morrison hadn't dated any woman for at least half a year — his romantic life was a complete blank. The model after Lilian was just a few days' fling, nothing serious, and Monna was even less of a factor.
Before Morrison could defend himself, Linda cut him off:
"Enough, enough. Whether that girl is reliable or not, or if she's really suitable for Karl, you'll see for yourself when you come back tomorrow night and meet her at dinner."
After hanging up, Morrison hesitated for a moment, then told Norton to change his schedule.
He was curious now — who was this mysterious girl that could make Karl, whose heart belonged only to research, stir with feelings and even bring her home for dinner?
Speaking of dinner at Karl's house, Lilian felt frustrated. How could she have expected Linda to invite her over already? She and Karl had only just met. Even if they were really dating, going to his house for dinner so soon felt a little too much.
