for Advance Chapter
A few days later.
That day Yui was away from school for a day of filming.
"Let's eat Yumeshi."
Takuya brings a lunch box to Yu's seat and invites him over.
"Hmm? Ah, he's not here today."
When Yu sees the empty seat next to him, he acts as if he had forgotten that Yui wasn't there.
In reality, she was feeling bored inside because Yui wasn't there, but she didn't want Takuya to notice that.
"Yeah. I have something I want to talk about, so let's go over there."
By "over there" he probably means an empty classroom.
That's the place where Yu and Yui had sex without Takuya knowing.
Takuya, unaware of this fact, takes Yu to an empty classroom.
"You brought me here, so you're talking about Yui-chan?"
After entering an empty classroom and confirming that no one is there, Yuu asks why he was brought there.
If you're not going to talk about anything you don't want others to hear, then you can just eat in the classroom.
"Ah... well, let's sit down for now."
Takuya said as he brought his usual chair and sat down.
The same chair where Yui had sex with Yu just a few days ago.
Laughing to himself, Yu also sat opposite him.
"Well... we were able to make up, I thought. But I feel like something's different than before."
Takuya began to speak to Yu, whose expression showed he was concerned.
"What do you mean?"
As I open my lunch box, I ask about anything that bothers me.
"How should I put it? I don't really know what to say either, but there's something different about him, or maybe his mind isn't really there."
Maybe it's because of me that he skipped a few steps on the ladder to adulthood. While thinking to himself how horrible things are for Takuya, he says something else.
"Isn't it because of the filming of a movie?"
Yes, the reason Yui is not here right now is because she is filming that movie.
This is Yui's first movie appearance. Although she is not the main heroine but a supporting heroine, it was a very big role for Yui Shimotsuki, who had only played roles that only appeared in a few episodes in most dramas.
"I asked my dad, and he said that he had been asked to appear in the film by a producer who was even more famous than him, and so he reluctantly accepted."
That's true.
Yui wanted to turn down the offer as she wanted to avoid any negative effects on her school life. However, the producer has a lot of influence in the industry and there are dark rumors about him, so Yui's father told her that she accepted the offer because she didn't want to draw attention to herself if she turned him down.
But there's no reason to tell Takuya that much.
"This is Yui-chan's first experience playing a supporting heroine in a movie, so I'm sure she's nervous about a lot of things."
"If that's the case, then that's fine..."
Although Yu's father is a producer and he doesn't have any direct connection to the entertainment industry, he knows a certain amount about it from hearing about it.
However, Takuya, who has no such experience, doesn't seem to understand.
"I don't know if I should really say this, but it seems to be a pretty big movie. Isn't it your boyfriend's job to encourage you?"
Yu heard about it from his father, but it's about a movie that hasn't been released publicly yet.
Apparently the film will be announced at a big event soon.
"...I see. That's true, I'm your boyfriend after all."
Is Yui's heart really directed towards Takuya right now, or...?
Even if it is a negative emotion, if it is strong it means that it occupies a large proportion of your mind.
Furthermore, it seems that Yui is not satisfied with sex with Takuya, and although she denies it when she is having sex with Yu, it is clear that she is feeling it.
"It's a difficult time and you probably won't be able to see Takuya much, but that just shows how hard Yui is working. Please support her."
Ever since Takuya started going out with Yui, he had gotten used to saying things he didn't mean.
"Thanks, Yuu. After all, a best friend is the best thing you can have."
If the person is of the opposite sex, they will smile and say thank you in an instant.
(...Ahh)
Is it that he is a good person, or that he has no suspicions?
Normally this would be a good thing, but it just irritates Yu.
(Is he really worried?)
In the first place, why do they only ask Yu and not ask him directly?
It would certainly be cool if he could figure out and solve Yui's worries without asking her. However, what Yu just said was just what Yu thinks Yui's worries are, in the first place.
There is no proof that this is really what Yui is worried about.
However, Yuu didn't like the fact that he just accepted it at face value and gave up thinking for himself.
"I'll buy you a bottle of juice later as a thank you."
"That's not what I intended to say when I came to you for advice, so it's fine."
"Don't worry about it. You have to repay the favor you received."
"No, it's fine, really."
(I'll have to repay that debt with something bigger... like Yui-chan.)
He probably thought it was wrong to force someone to buy something when they were reluctant. Since Yu had refused twice, Takuya didn't ask him again.
