Rhea stood before the cracked mirror in Isaac's dusty apartment, staring at her own reflection — but it wasn't quite her.
Her eyes flickered, shifting from her own dark brown to a cold, pale blue. The ghost inside was pushing harder, trying to bleed through.
"Why won't you let me be free?" the shadow whispered from the glass.
Rhea clenched her fists. "Because I'm still here. And I'm not giving up."
Isaac stepped closer, holding an ancient, worn book. "I found something — a ritual, maybe a way to trap the shadow for good."
Her hope sparked. "Then what are we waiting for?"
Suddenly, the room went ice cold. The lights flickered out.
The shadow's voice slithered through the darkness. "You can't hide from me forever."
Rhea swallowed her fear. "Watch me."
