Milo Malone’s life is stuck in a rut. At 22, working night shifts at a gas station in Dallas, burdened by the loss of his parents and a future that feels hopeless, Milo’s world shatters during a robbery gone wrong. But instead of fading to black, Milo wakes up as his 15-year-old self—back in 2005, before his high school years begin.

Thrown into an alternate timeline where his parents are alive, Milo struggles to reconcile his adult memories with the reality of teenage life. Haunted by the weight of lost time and desperate to rewrite his destiny, he soon discovers a mysterious “system” granting him a digital stat sheet and the ability to upgrade his basketball skills. I stared at the floating screen in awe. "I'm going to be OP!!!!!"


I swinged arms to the air screaming in joy. After that moment I turned around feeling eyes looking at me.

I stared at the people on the other side of the court in embarrassment, I was about to ignore them when the biggest of the 2 shouted at me.


'Ughhhhh I don't want tooooo…wait maybe I will get do heheheheh"


I turn to look at the tallest one and accepted his challenge.


'He is so cooked I'm about him kissed hahah' Milo said with pride and looking down at the tallest one of the 2


"Yo first off my names Josh, this is Kev or Kevin but it doesn't what you call him. So what's your name" Josh tells Milo


"Ughhhh my names Milo umm nice to meet you" Milo said with a smile and pride in his eyes that Josh did not miss to notice.


"So who wants ball first" Josh stated "I do" Milo said, as we see kev leave the court and start to watch on the sidelines.


Josh checks up, and presses hard trying to make Milo stumble and mess up. Milo knows this so he crab dribbles, and steps back to create space he sees a opening and drives making contact but at the last moment when Milo tries to layup the ball gets poked away.


Josh gets possession and clears the ball, Milo didn't have enough time to guard up, Josh shoots a three.


'Fuck' Milo says to himself internally 


And for the whole game the same thing happened Milo tried to drive in to layup the ball either gets poked away or blocked. And the only points Milo made were 2 mid range shots but from those shots it was 7-2


"Damn I got blown out" Milo out of breath and laying on the floor. "Yo you have potential just keep working dude, alright kev let's go home"


Milo watches them leave the court and leave his vision 'I need to keep work' 


The blue screen appears and shows letters bright red losses have consequences 


"Whattttt!!!" Milo screams 'the system never told me that losses have consequences why didn't it tell me!!!!!!'
