The purple barrier shimmered around the warehouse and nearby buildings, trapping the Hand inside.
Madam Gao studied the glowing field, "What's this thing?" she muttered, gesturing to a Hand shinobi to investigate.
The shinobi, agile and silent, leaped to the warehouse roof, climbing through the jagged hole Blonsky's Abomination form had torn open. His hand reached for the purple barrier, his thoughts focused.
It was the last thing he did. Purple fire erupted, engulfing him in a blaze of crackling energy.
His scream was brief, his body reduced to ash in seconds, charred remains crumbling through the hole.
"So, a barrier to keep us inside… Interesting. Do you have sorcerers working with you?" Gao asked but got no answer to her question.
Blonsky, in his Abomination form continued the destruction.
Hand shinobi swarmed him again and again. A dozen shinobi leaped onto him, blades flashing, aiming for joints and eyes.
Blonsky roared loudly and clapped The sound wave from the clap alone threw them off, their bodies crashing into walls.
One shinobi's skull smashed against concrete, blood and brain matter splattering, his body limp. Another's ribcage caved under Blonsky's fist, bones piercing the heart, blood gushing as he collapsed. The warehouse floor was slick with gore, bodies piling in broken heaps.
Gao's thoughts shifted, analyzing the fight 'The monster seems to not be tiring at all. It is as if it has never ending stamina but his partner's weakening.'
Creel fought nearby, his punches crushing shinobi, their swords screeching uselessly against his impervious surface. But his movements had slowed from the start of the fight.
Waves of Hand shinobi targeted him, trying to tire him out.
Creel's thoughts grew desperate as he was overwhelmed.. He finally could not keep up. A shinobi's kick landed, staggering him.
Just as he was lifted off the ground by some shinobi and was about to be slammed into a wall, bullet-like holes tore through the attacking shinobi. Blood sprayed, their bodies dropping, riddled with invisible projectiles.
Gao's eyes narrowed, "So you are finally here. Chi Warrior of Unknown Origins," she said, her voice carrying over the chaos.
Kakashi appeared at the warehouse. He'd used Wind Style: Vacuum Bullets to save Creel, the invisible projectiles piercing the shinobi with surgical precision.
Five Hand shinobi leaped at him. Kakashi's movements were a blur, kunais flashing as he struck their necks. Blood fountained from severed arteries, their bodies crumpling, lifeless.
Kakashi's sharingan spinned into the Mangekyo pattern. 'It's time to test one of my new Mangekyo abilities. If I'm not wrong, it's the ability of Shinto Gods, Kaminari.'
That's right Kakashi had finally managed to unlock another set of Mangekyou sharingan abilities of another Shinto God. It still perplexed him how it worked but he would not mind having new abilities. Kakashi of a thousand eye abilities had a certain ring to it, not that he would have even have more than a dozen eye abilities ever.
Madame Gao had at least brought a couple hundred of her men with her.
Kakashi's eyes locked on a new wave of approaching shinobi.
And he blinked.
*BOOM!*
A thunderclap erupted, the air itself detonating with divine force. The assassins were hurled back, their swords shattering mid-swing, metal fragments scattering. The nearest shinobi slammed into a wall, his body convulsing as lightning danced across his armor.
His chest smoked, blood leaking from burst eardrums as he collapsed, twitching.
More shinobi leaped from above, kunais raining down, their thoughts focused. Kakashi's eye tracked them. He blinked again. The shockwave detonated, scattering the kunais like leaves, their metal tips melting mid-air.
The assassins, caught mid-leap, spun helplessly, their bodies slammed into the rooftop tiles, bones snapping on impact. One shinobi's arm broke, the jagged bone piercing skin, blood streaming as he screamed. Another's spine twisted, his body crumpling, blood pooling beneath.
Two Hand elites pushed through, their chi-enhanced speed a blur. One aimed a katana at Kakashi's neck, the other a spinning kick to his ribs.
Kakashi tilted his head lazily, his Sharingan glowing, then closed his eye slowly.
*Blink.*
The thunderclap detonated point-blank, a focused explosion of sound and lightning. The katana snapped like glass, shards flying as the elite's arm shattered, blood spraying from torn flesh.
The kicker's leg froze mid-arc, the vibration pulverizing bone, his scream cut short as he collapsed, twitching violently, his nervous system fried. Blood trickled from his mouth.
Kakashi's gaze locked on Madam Gao. Gao's face paled, her thoughts flooding with terror for the first time in her life.
"Wait, please…" she tried to say, her voice trembling.
Kakashi narrowed his eye.
He blinked deliberately, the thunderclap focused into a singular divine boom. The rooftop cracked, spiderwebs tearing across the stone.
Gao was sent flying, her body a broken mess, bleeding from every orifice. Her skin was lacerated, lightning still tingling across her frame, internal organs ruptured from the shockwave.
Blood dripped from her nose, ears, and mouth. All of her internal organs had been crushed under the shockwave from the soundwave that was released from Kakashi's Mangekyou eye whenever he blinked.
Kakashi's thoughts were analytical, assessing his new Mangekyou ability.
'Not bad. It's not as chakra-intensive as the other eye ability that I have seen like Itachi's Amaterasu and Tsukoyomi and is quite good for both offense and defense. It is not as destructive like my long range Kamui too. That means I could use it when using that ability would be too dangerous or chakra extensive.'
Kakashi was satisfied with one of the two new Mangekyou abilities. And the name of this ability was Raijin no Taiko.
