Thor and his Asgardian crew were gone, leaving behind wrecked SHIELD vehicles.
Kakashi's thought, 'Fury's gonna be pissed, but I'm not letting them slip away that easy.' He tapped his comms, his voice calm. "Coulson, the Asgardians have retreated. Do I pursue?"
Coulson's voice crackled, hesitant. "By retreat… you mean they left to their world, Asgard?"
"Yeah," Kakashi replied, his eye crinkling. "Gone in a flash."
"By a spaceship?" Coulson asked, his tone skeptical.
Kakashi's voice was dry. "I think some magic teleportation spell. They're out of here."
Coulson paused, processing the absurdity. "Do you think you can pursue them safely and return, Agent Hound?"
Kakashi thought for a second, his hand brushing the pouch where his fuinjutsu tags rested. 'My kunai's in Asgard. Kamui can get me there, and maybe they've got a way back to Konoha.'
His thoughts raced. 'Revealing Kamui's full range is a risk, but Asgard's worth it. Secrets don't stay secret forever anyways.'
"I believe I can," he said.
"Alright, go," Coulson said. "But don't get stuck in some alien dimension."
Kakashi's eye crinkled. "Yo, no promises."
He focused on the kunai he'd slipped through the Bifrost, channeling Kamui. The world twisted, and he vanished into the void, reappearing in a golden chamber. He glanced around, his Sharingan scanning for threats.
The room was vast, its walls shimmering with intricate designs. A massive bridge——stretched outside, glowing with rainbow light.
Beyond it was a huge city. Kakashi's breath caught, his thoughts awestruck.
'This place makes Konoha look like a backwater village. Towers taller than Hokage Rock, bridges floating on nothing. It's… unreal.'
He shook his head, refocusing. 'Focus, Kakashi. Thor's here somewhere, and I've got a job to do.'
He pressed his hand to the floor, channeling chakra. "Summoning Jutsu!" A puff of smoke revealed Pakkun, who shook himself and sniffed the air. "Pakkun, track Thor. You remember the smell of his hammer, right?"
Pakkun's eyes gleamed,'Oh yeah, my chewy hammer. I'm coming for you.'
"Can I have his hammer after you kick his ass?" he asked, his voice gruff.
Kakashi's eye crinkled. "We can negotiate with him."
Pakkun took off, nose low, and Kakashi followed, his steps silent.
They reached a palace, its golden halls lined with statues. Kakashi spotted bodies—blue-skinned giants with icy armor, sprawled lifelessly. 'Looks like Thor's work from the wounds?'
Pakkun barked softly, signaling Thor's scent. Kakashi ran, as more Frost Giants appeared, grinning wickedly.
One slammed his fist into the ground, ice spikes erupting toward Kakashi. He phased through them with Kamui, the spikes passing harmlessly.
'Something like Ice kekkei genkai, huh? Cute trick.' Another giant swung a massive hammer, but Kakashi phased again, the blow missing. He slashed his tanto across the giant's neck, blood spraying as it collapsed.
Four more giants charged, unleashing a shower of ice spikes. Kakashi wove hand signs. "Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu!" A massive fireball roared from his mouth, melting the spikes and engulfing the giants.
Their screams echoed as they burned, their blue skin charring. 'Weak to fire.' Kakashi thought.
Two more giants appeared from opposite directions, their ice shields raised. Kakashi threw two kunai, each tagged with an explosive seal.
The giants batted them away, smirking—until the tags ignited, explosions rocking the hall. The giants fell, their bodies scorched.
He spotted a man in a horned helmet running from the palace, clutching a spear.
Thor's shout echoed: "Loki!" Kakashi's eye narrowed. 'That's the brother. The one who sent the big tin can.'
'It looks like the brothers have beef between each other. One wants to kill the other and the other wants to save him and still loves him. It sounds familiar to another siblings pair that I know.' Kakashi thought amused
Loki's thoughts were venomous as he saw Kakashi. 'The Midgardian who ruined my plans to kill Thor. How did he get here? No matter—it saves me the trouble of hunting him.'
"Midguardian....You should have stayed on your worthless realm. Now face the consequences of defying me!"
Loki fired a blast of energy from his spear, its green light searing the air. Kakashi raised his hand, chakra surging. "Earth Style: Mud Wall!" A wall of earth erupted, absorbing the blast.
'Guess we're going for the kill.' Kakashi thought as he punched right through an illusion of Loki.
'Illusion magic? It's different from Genjutsu. It's quite similar to the clone jutsu.' Kakashi thought as he created his own illusion clones making Loki's eyes widened.
Lightning crackled around the hand of all three Kakashi's hand as they Body Flickered in front of Loki, their Chidori aimed at his chest.
Thor arrived, his eyes wide. "Brother, no!" he shouted.
Before Kakashi's strike landed, a strong hand gripped his wrist, stopping him cold. His Sharingan spun, but he hadn't sensed anything until it happened. The other two clone Kakashi's have disappeared.
His eyes widened as he looked at the newcomer—an old man with a single eye, his presence commanding. Thor and Loki both mumbled, "Father."
Kakashi's thoughts raced. 'Odin. King of Asgard.' He stood frozen, his Chidori fading. 'This guy's on another level. Things might turn difficult soon.'
