Nephis's eyes narrowed as Sunny said that.
"How are you so sure they are related, if I may ask. Did you put your shadow on a civilian?"
Sunny looked up at Nephis and said.
"My clan is mainly focused on gathering intel and information. So yeah I was keeping an eye on him"
"Master?"
"Mia...stop calling me that."
"Alright, can I continue with what I wanted to say?"
"No, you can't fight him."
Mia lead out a dissapointed but childish sound and put her hands behind her back while walking towards the practice area.
"Oh well. I will at least enjoy the show."
"Hey...wanna bet?"
All 5 girls looked at Kai and asked in sync.
"Bet? What is the bet?"
"How many attacks will it take for Sunny to win."
They looked around each other and nodded.
"Discuss it while we get there will you?"
As they were approaching the practice area crowd of students was also slowly gathering and since this was year based lecture every student had to attend which meant hundreds of students. They were mostly minding their own business and apart form Sunny's group conversation noone was really talking much. This could be tied to most of them only slowly recovering from coming back from their group dream realms and weren't in a very high spirits to begin which, because of that Sunny's group attitude of being lively and full of energy stood out not to mention their conversation was heard by everyone or mostly everyone.
Practice area was situated outside and it looked as a Coloseum on much smaller scale obviously. Normally middle of the fighting area would be devided into 7 segments which was visible on the ground.
Ground was made from a very durable concrete able to withstand power of peak ascended. After all fights were here for both entertaintment as well as for concluding your fighting potential and abilities in general.
Concretes themselves were devided by numbers from 1 all the way to 7. However this time it was changed to just blank space. This was because it was their first day and they were about to assess their abilities. About 30 teachers gathered and in front of all of them stood Master Rock. Fully kitted out in his fully ascended gear. Silverish armour with gold lines around were giving it more luxurious look and in his hands stuck in the ground was a large heavy double edged battle axe. As he was about to speak up he released his ascended aura and anounced.
"So is there anyone brave enough to challange me? I am giving you my word that if you land a blow on me I will give you full marks from this practice class and you don't need to attend any more classes."
Most of the students knowing who he was and all his achievements just tried avoiding his gaze. The only exception were some awakened from legacy clans and didn't bother with it just sat at the edge of the arena not paying any attention.
"What are you betting on?"
Mia asked cause she wasn't paying attention to their talk till now.
Sunny had his hands in his pockets but now he summoned his sword and let it hang by his waist. Other then that he wore a T-shirt with a hood and stylish black trousars with a lot of pockets. After all eficiency is key. As of right now he didn't even know why would he need so many pockets but he had to admit that they looked cool. All his coaths were bought by none other then Kai...obviosly.
"Sure. I'll take you on."
Rock looked at Sunny with distain and rage in his eyes releasing his ascended aura around him even more and gripped the hild of his weapon tighter.
Sunny approached and said slowly.
"By any chance do you know brat that looks similar to you and is attending *****school on *****"
Basically same school as Rain.
"My son? What about him?"
"Tell him this"
Sunny stopped walking and stood inside the circle now only 20 meters away from Master Rock.
"Stop bothering my student...if you won't I will criple you."
"Are you really threatening my family in front of me? You should have just said you want to get beaten up I would have done it for free. After all outskirt rats like you don't matter. Regardless if you have a true name or not."
"As you wish. Well concider this as me showing mercy. You had your chance to apologize."
"Summon your gear."
"This much is enough for a trash like yourself."
This exchange made others approach the arena with hope seeing some good fighting or even beating would be nice. Sunny arogance was pissing off many of the students gathered so there was an obvious favorite for who would win.
"Before we start we should get ourselves a ref what do you say. Master Rock."
Sunny said that without breaking eye contact with master Rock at all.
"Fair point."
Sunny looked at Nephis and Kai.
They understood what he was doing and slowly aproched the center of the coloseum.
"My name is Kai. I will judge the honesty of the final verdict."
"How will you do that Awakened Kai?"
"My flaw let's me know if anyone if not telling true"
"I don't think I need to introduce myself do I?"
"Of course not Awakened Nephis. I will trust your judgement. Any objections?"
Teachers nodded in approval and stepped into a safer distance. Kai flew high above them and Nephis stood in the middle.
"When I say now. Attack."
"NOW."
As she said that she got to a safer position.
Both Sunny and Master Rock stood against each other. Sunny with his sword by his waist and hands beside his body. On his shoulder Serpent was proudly revealed as if showing dominance. Noone moved until Sunny smirked slowly.
Rock attacked first but Sunny dodge each swing Master rock did made a ghust of wind slightly cracking the concrete under them. After 7 moves Sunny jumped back to where they started initially and tilted his head at Rock.
"You are good at running away."
"Don't you want to change carriers master Rock? To a porfesional sweeper with such strong winds dust on the ground will not stande a chance."
Nephis smiled a little and Master Rocked turned red in rage.
"Your technique. I know it now. Thank you."
"What did you?"
As he was about to say more Sunny was alredy in front of him swinging his blade and deliberatelly slamming it into his his battle axe creating sparks as well as lound clash of steel against steel. Rock pushed himself back but Sunny did not let him recover and slashed the same spot again and again and again.
"Come on master Rock. This can't be the best you can to can it?"
Rock swung his axe at Sunny sideways but as he was swinging Sunny put his sword on the bottom edge of his axe and tossed it aside making it clang against hard concrete.
"We are not done, yet."
Master Rock was looking at his hands and back at the axe on the floor behind Sunny.
Sunny faced away from master rock and walked to the battle picking it up with the tip of his blade and kicking it into master Rock's direction almost cutting his head of but he managed to grab it in time.
"So Master Rock you still think we are not done?"
"You should give up. Teacher. After all I have no real reason to kill you."
"Don't push your luck. BOY!"
Sunny scoffed as Master Rock put his axe into a fighting position in front of him and stepped forward completely dissapearing from in front of Master Rock and appearing beside him feeling hot metal of Sunny's sword on his neck mixed with his own blood.
The only think that made Master Rock stop were words he heard at the same time as he realized Sunny was beside him.

Sunny stepped back and looked both at Kai and Nephis after that at teachers that were still stunned from what just happened.
"Do you want me to continue?"
"No. I give up. I will also do as you asked. As for what I said at the begining you don't need to attend this class anymore."
"Thank you. I guess conversing with someone with blades will make them see things better."
After he said that he dismissed his blade and walked out of the arena.
As he was walking away Master Rock asked.
"Do you want to teach them instead?"
Sunny stopped and said while slowly and briefly looking around himself spotting some people he recognized and said while putting hands in his pockets but not facing Master Rock.
"I already have my hands full so, no."
After that both Kai and Nephis got to the middle.
"Both of you leave there is no need for your judgement. The outcome was obvious. Can you tell me why are his hands full?"
Kai smiled and said politely.
"Sir, I believe if he wanted to tell you why and with what are his hands full he would tell you. It's not up to me to tell you why his hands are full. Ask him."
"Alright. Next thing on the list is physical examination tell him to get to the medical sector he will find an ascended master there."
"I thought every master was here."
"Some....refused to participate. I will conclude the rest of you now so get in line who wants to follow Awakened Sunless."
Nephis and Kai looked at each other and asked.
"Can we?"
"Yes sure. Pick your oponents."
After a short while everyone from Sunny's group were dismissed from practical exam and send after Sunny. Right as they were leaving Kai asked.
"Do we know the master from the medical sector?"
"You might have heard of her. She is very well known...."
Nephis looked into medical sector direction and scoffed.
"Just why are you here..."
