The air seemed to ripple as mana poured out of Noah like a broken dam.
His scream filled the air as the pain exploded through him, even more than he'd felt earlier.
And in that instant, he immediately lost consciousness, unable to handle a second use of mana.
Blood poured out of his nose, his mouth and his eyes, making him look like a ghoul.
The Mana Leech inside him, sensing that the mana that should have belonged to it was being sucked away, intensified its effort to siphon off Noah's mana.
However, there was nothing it could do to stop what was about to happen.
The dimensional rift holding the monolith seemed to be working on autopilot, drinking in Noah's mana without his input. Its pressure was even much stronger than the Mana Leech's.
And a tiny, unstable hole, ringed with dark energy, began to bloom in the air.
The guards reached Noah, who was now wreathed and glowing with bright light, his body lifting off the dead rhino to float in the air.
"Stop him!"
