Lennox's POV
I could barely breathe through the pain. The healers moved around us with grim expressions, their hands working desperately over our bodies, but I knew their efforts were useless. This wasn't a physical wound they could stitch closed or a broken bone they could set. This was deeper—a tear in our very souls.
We'd been carried to my chambers after the ceremony. The three of us, once powerful Alpha heirs, now reduced to broken shells. I turned my head slowly, wincing at the effort, to look at my brothers.
Levi lay motionless on the bed they'd brought in, tears streaming silently down his face. Louis sat slumped in a chair, staring blankly at the wall, his usual stoic mask completely shattered. I'd never seen my brothers like this. Never imagined we could be brought so low.
"Alpha Lennox, please try to drink this," one of the healers urged, holding a steaming cup to my lips.
