Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Winter Confessions – Part 2. Victoria’s Secret

While everyone was busy discussing the theory of how my powers worked, no one noticed the figure standing in the bar's doorway.

"AHEM!" Said the mysterious figure. Everyone stopped and turned around to see who it was, and in front of them was a young blond woman with a 'Mia Farrow cut', and a slender frame, wearing a fitted expensive fur coat. "Is anyone going take my order?"

"I'm sorry who are you?" Amanda shot back.

"VICTORIA CHASE?!" I immediately recognized her sarcastic tone that was similar to that of her teenage years in High school back in the Blackwell Academy.

As she turns her gaze towards me, she gave me a warm smile and immediately ran to give me a big hug. "MAX?!....Oh my god! I am so glad to see you again."

"Victoria….wow… how on earth are you here…and at a critical time like this?" I was puzzled at first, but yet again…relief to see one of my old classmates from the Blackwell academy.

"Oh come on Max! I was just got back from Portland and thought of taking the scenic route to Lakeport and decided to stop by Caledon University. But on my way here I noticed that the whole town got hit by a massive storm…. so I decided to see how you were doing." Victoria declared in a calm demeanor.

I was skeptical to see her here at a time like this, but what bothers me the most was how on earth she knew where to find me, not to mention that the only people who knew my whereabouts' are my parents, and …Chloe.

Victoria without hesitation turned her gaze towards Amanda who was surprised to see a new face appear at the bar out of nowhere. "Is there something on my face?"

"No, but, I want to know who is the one running the bar? I am parched and could really use a drink; you know something to clear my mind." Victoria as always loves to boss people around…not to mention how she treated her own friends as if they were her lesser.

I remember it like it was yesterday with both her closes friends...Taylor Christensen, and Courtney Wagner. Sadly their bodies were never found, so it's presumed that they didn't make it, it's as if the whole town just randomly disappeared without a trace.

Moses with a curiosity glance begins questioning Victoria. "Victoria? Right?"

Victoria without a second thought has shifted her focus to Moses, "That's right!? And who might you be if you don't mind asking?"

"I'm Moses, I am one of Max's friends here at Caledon University and I am a professor of astrophysics."

"Gwen Parker and I'm also one of Max's friends, and I am a professor of Literature…Or at least I was until shit hit the fan…So yeah I am now officially jobless." Said Gwen, showing off a disturbing look to Victoria.

"I am Vinh Lang, and I work as an Administrative Assistant for the Dean of this Campus." Replied Vinh without a care in the world while remaining mostly silent.

Amanda without a second thought has jumped into the band wagon of introduction as well, "Sup! I am Amanda Thomas, and I am the one in charge of the this joint that you are standing on…Aka the Snapping Turtle Bar. I am the one who knows all you liquor taste based on your preferences or of your choice. You name it and I will provide it."

Victoria with all of her arrogance and pride was amused at Amanda's offer. "Wow!? You don't say…Well since you are the one in charge of this place, what are your suggestions for me to try out? Please impress me."

Realizing all too well what Victoria Chase is up too, I knew for once that Amanda was faced with a challenge and to see what type of drinks she would suggest Victoria should try for once. But, knowing her, she has a tendency to degrade anyone who are considered a thorn in her bush and will do anything just to put them in their place…I know all of her arrogance because I was one of the students she used to bully back in high school; including Kate Marsh…She too faced one of the worst harassment and bullying that Victoria and Nate had done to her and it was so bad that it nearly led her to almost take her own life. Thankfully I was able to save her without the usage of my time reverse powers, but to no avail. I know for once that reversing time and time again was meaningless and led to even more troubles in the long run that led towards her demise and all Acadia Bay as well.

"So! Ms. Chase if I may, I would suggest three types of drinks that will fit your liking such as: Cosmopolitan – a sweet and fruity drink fit for a gossip queen, Mango Margarita – mixed with a blend of mango flavor and small dosage of Tequila with lime added to it, or if you prefer something in between bitter and sweet, than I would suggest you have a taste of a Daiquiri Mary – it is a blend of 1 and ½ oz of Bourbon Whiskey, 1 oz of Lime Juice, and ½ of Simple Syrup."

"They all sound interesting, but I would definitely go with Mango Margarita, for its uniqueness." Said Victoria with an interesting smile.

"ONE Mango Margarita…Coming up." Amanda stood up and gave me a pad on my shoulder as she made her way to the counter to prepare Victoria's Drink.

"So Max!? Tell me what have you been doing with yourself these past couple of years. Last I recall you and Chloe are no more. What is up with you two? You two were seemed to have been in a relationship and traveling the roads…doing nothing but freelancing and party like it was no tomorrow."

With everyone admiring Victoria's appearances and Amanda preparing her drink, all topics regarding the story I have mentioned has paused for a moment and feeling the burden faltered to me I decided that the conversation between me and Victoria needed to be shifted in private. I turned my gaze to my peers and waved my hand as a suggestion of wanting some privacy. Everyone nodded in agreement and retreated elsewhere for a chance to talk to Victoria alone.

"VOI-LA! Mango Margarita with tip of flavor added to your taste. If there is anything else you need from me…Please don't hesitate to call me." Said Amanda while bringing Victoria her drink, and then made her hasty retreated towards the others who were in another room near the fire place chatting amongst themselves.

Victoria took a nice long sip of the drink, and in a matter of seconds her eyes lit up, "Mmm….I say this is not bad…..I should considered this type of drink as one of the best I ever had...well not to brag, but this will do for now." While admiring Victoria's eyes and her usual pixie cut hair, she begins reminiscing back to my relationship with Chloe Price. "So tell me Max? What is up with you and Chloe? Last, I recall you and her have gone your separate ways. So what happen?"

I paused for a moment while riddling with my hands and not wanting to grab too much attention, I hesitated at first, but this loneliness and guilt was eating me alive. "YES…It's true that Chloe and I are no more. But that doesn't mean we aren't in touch. We just chose to give each other some space."

"SPACE…I say…Maxine Caulfield….Don't tell me…you both are still reminiscing about the incidents that happened back in Arcadia Bay, and has led you two to call it quits…right?" Victoria as usual always wants to take a jab a something just to get the ball rolling.

I rolled my eyes as a sign of feeling discomfort and annoyance towards her curiosity. To get her mind out of my personal relationship with Chloe, I hesitated, but shot back with anger that got everyone else's attention towards us as I slammed my fist on the table; almost spilling Victoria's drink.

"YOU KNOW WHAT VICTORIA? FUCK YOU…You always want to get on someone's nerves just to get a reaction. Can you at least think before you act or say?" Victoria didn't say a word and stood there frozen in disbelief in the way how I reacted. "Can you for once stop and think before you say something stupid. You know such things you say are hurtful and cruel. Let's not forget the crazy stunt you pulled back in High school almost led to Kate Marsh to nearly take her own life. All because of that stupid video you posted of her being drunk and acting sluttish."

"Hey Max….You good?" said Amanda as she approached me with a worrisome look and gave me side hug. I turned my gaze towards Amanda and held her hand that was maintaining me in a position of calmness.

"Sorry Amanda…I didn't mean to react that way." I answered with a frustrating look to Victoria's question. "Look Victoria…Chloe and I had our differences…She wanted to focus on the future and explore new places and continue traveling, while I wanted to reminisced about the past and settle down and make a living for ourselves. Chloe and I had a big fight, and one day while she stepped out to cool off from the hotel room where we were staying at, I was determining to at least try to work things out with her by not being a burden to her. But, a few hours gone by and she hasn't returned at all, I did tried to call her and yet she never texted nor called me back. I was worried, fearing something might have happened to her. However….that was not the case, as I awoken from exhaustion I noticed that the room was slightly empty and all her things where gone. Even the duffle bag she carried was gone as well. It wasn't until finally she texted me back saying that it would be best that we take some time off from one another."

Victoria started to show signs of regret in her action and remained silent for me to finish.

"Chloe said that she was going to go on her own and find her purpose in life for the Future…That was all I heard from her. The last time I heard from her was a postcard she send me from the City of St. Luis, Missouri…I tell you now that…it was not an invitation at all but a sign that she moved on and was seeing someone else, and that I should do the same too." I closed my eyes in disappointment as I finished answering her question about Chloe and me. I sight in relief and gave closure to that conversation.

Without a second thought Victoria who was tilting slightly her drink, she immediately took a big sip of it…finishing it completely and slowly slamming the cup back on the table. "…You know what Max, I needed that…I know that I wasn't a good person to you, but look at you now." I gave her look of confusion as she continued on with what she is about to say, "Max, I too reminisce about the past and had for so long run away from it and looking back. I want to say that I…I am sorry…I know that you do not deserve my apology, but I too have something to say to that."

"What do you mean?" I replied with that curiosity look as I stare at her Dark green eyes.

"My question is to you Ms. Chase" Moses Said while jumping in to our conversation.

"Sure, what is it that you have in mind Mr. Murphy?" Replied Victoria.

Everyone got closer and was curious to know what Moses had to say, including myself. "How did you Survived the incident that took place in Arcadia Bay, and if I am mistaken weren't you one of Mark Jefferson's Victims who was also in the Dark Room? I know something about you because I read it in an old article regarding the disappearance of a young Female student…Rachael Amber, and your name was mentioned too."

Victoria with fear in her eyes and a sigh of relief hesitated at first, but never thought of wanting to answer anyone's question; especially the one incident that had to do with the Dark room that was located in an abandoned Barn owned by the Prescott family. Victoria closed her eyes for a few minutes and begins to reflect on that very day when she was the one who one won the Photography contest and not me. To whom ever won the contest will have a chance to go to San Francisco, California with Mark Jefferson, to have their photo art crafted and displayed in a museum of art for everyone to see.

"Well….I guess it's time to know the truth and I have to thank Ms. Caulfield here and her Punk Ass friend Chloe." Said Victoria.

"I am confused? What do you mean, as a 'Thank you'?" I shot back with a glance look of confusion, and I was not the only one, so did everyone else as Victoria proceeded with the incident of that faithful day.

"Remember when Nathan Prescott supposedly threw the prestigious End of the World Vortex Club Party?" She said with a serious tone.

Having her eyes shut for a minute she began to regain her composure of the day when the second Full Moon mysterious appeared out of nowhere up in the clear night sky, and was indeed close to colliding with the other Full moon.

"Max…I was there when that Nerd boy…Warren Graham took a Polaroid selfie with you…obviously you didn't notice me since I was outside taking a smoke break and didn't want to be seen with anyone, regarding my addiction to nicotine for it was not good for my image. However, I could have sworn that you were indeed acting pretty weird all of a sudden and immediately ran up to your punk ass friend, Chloe, with that happy but worrisome look…"

Now that Victoria had mentioned the incident of the End of the World Party that was hosted by the Vortex Club, I had an immediate flashback of that day when I went back for the gazillion time to stop Chloe's demise in the hands of Mark Jefferson, only to make matters even worse than they ever were before…

(Flashback)…. After escaping Mr. Jefferson's grasp and the approaching Storm, I immediately time jumped into the last Polaroid pic that Warren has taken of us on the day of the Vortex Club's party. Not a second too soon of wanting to glance around my surroundings, I saw Chloe still alive and well with her slick Black Leather Jacket, and Dyed blue hair color just waiting for me to catch up to her without a care in the world. She looked pissed, and for a good reason…

"We got not time for this shit. Come on, Max." Said Chloe.

As soon as I got my head adjusted towards the area I time jumped into, I broke away from Warren's arm and ran straight to Chloe, and gave a big hug as a sign of relief and worry.

"Chloe!" I replied with excitement.

Chloe was indeed shocked to see me acting this way… "Jesus, Dude…What is up with you?" She said as she stammered away from me.

I could not hold back my tears of regret but I began to tell her everything that has happened to me while I time jumped, trying to undo the mistakes I had left open and maintaining my emotions… "I'm just glad we're here together."

"I guess you need to talk. No worries…It's all good." Replied Warren as he retreated to the Vortex Club party feeling a bit of disappointment.

"I'm glad you're with me, too. What's going on, Max? We have to find Nathan right now," Said Chloe.

Without second thought I decided to stop her from proceeding towards the party itself, and I couldn't hold back my emotions to her and began to gesture what had happen all this time and the faith of Nathan Prescott… "Chloe, wait! Listen!"

"I can walk and listen, Okay!?" replied Chloe while walking towards the entrance of the party.

I caught up to her just to tell her what needs to be said… "Stop and Listen for once!"

Chloe paused for a moment and decided to listen to what I had to say "Fine, Max. I'm listening."

I didn't realize then, that Victoria Chase was eavesdropping on our conversation, regarding her friend, Nathan Prescott, and her favorite teacher Mark Jefferson. But that didn't stop her curiosity of what I said to Chloe before the Storm that was about to unfold on Arcadia Bay. "Chloe, you can't go into that party. You're gonna…you're gonna die if you do."

Chloe knew what I had experience when it comes to Time jump, and with curiosity in her mind she shot back a question as she usually does… "You used your powers, right? And you fucked around with time, and I died…"

"Not like that…" I answered back.

"You're supposed to back me up. So there's no way that punk-ass bitch Nathan Prescott is taking me down." Chloe said with rage in her mind.

In that conversation I saw revenge in her eyes for she indeed wanted to kill Nathan for the death of Rachael Amber, who was not just Chloe's friend, but was her lover who was sadly found buried in the Arcadia Bay's dumpsite near the side of the rail tracks where all disposable garbage from the town goes.

"You're right, he won't...Mark Jefferson killed you… and others" I said feeling scared and worried.

"What the fuck is Max saying to Chloe, I knew she was weird…but Nathan Prescott and Mark Jefferson…killers!?…No way." Victoria said to herself in a whispered tone, while she remained hidden from plain sight.

Chloe was confused as our conversation proceeded… "Jefferson, the art teacher? That's bullshit! NATHAN IS THE FUCKIN SERIAL KILLER! We saw the Proof! Now excuse me, I'm going to that party to make sure he never hurts anybody again…Now are you coming?"

I gave her the answer she did not want to hear regarding Nathan… "Nathan is already dead..."

"WHAT! That fucker is already dead? How do you know that?" She said looking all confused at my response.

I looked at Chloe with a sincere look and… "Because… I was there."

She pushed even further for me to answer, "Will you please tell me exactly what happened? Please?"

Tears started to fall down my eyes as I looked at her with a worrisome look and I told her everything what Mark Jefferson has done to me and I couldn't get that trauma out of my mind fully. Let alone to forget about it since it is still plastered in my mind like a cassette tape…

"Chloe, Jefferson drugged me and kidnapped me…I was tied up in his bunker. You have no idea what the hell I went through to get back here… but I couldn't let you die…." It was there that my feelings for Chloe grew even further… "You brought me back here, and I can't lose you again. I won't!"

Chloe now fully comprehended what I have experience and gave me a strong hug… "Oh…Max. I'm so sorry… I was the one who dragged you into all this shit…Nobody, especially you, should have to go through that…Now we have to stop Jefferson…with one bullet."

I shot back with tears still in my eyes … "No! Not this way! Chloe, I… I can't keep fixing everything, if all I'm gonna do is just break it, over and over again. I know how this is gonna turn out and…I am afraid that I am fucking up all of these alternate realities."

"Wait alternate realities? What do you mean, Max? What did you do?" Said Chloe, feeling a little disturbed on my response.

I finally understood what my powers held, and how it affects realities… "I fucked up, Chloe. I wanted to make things right, but everything turned out wrong."

"Max, what the hell are you talking about?" Replied Chloe.

I reminisce to her of how I was able to jumped back in time by looking at an old Polaroid pic of our childhood selves, and had prevented the untimely death of William Price, only to make matters worse in which Chloe to suffer a faith even worse than death. Which led her paralyzed and bound to a wheelchair after her vehicle accident, and has put a lot of financial strain on her family, who were struggling with keeping up with her medical expenses. How I did the unthinkable while visiting her in her desperate time of needs, and her pleading for one last request… and that was to end her life by increasing the Morphine dosage to a max that can be lethal if used obsessively. Sadly, I had to undo what I tried to do and let time proceed how it should have been with Mr. Price no longer in Chloe's life. I knew that undoing that mistake has gotten the Chloe I admired back into my life. What I did next has indeed altered the timeline that was officially set and it was to convince Chloe to Runaway together with, and to stay alive until it all blows over. I even convinced her to report it all to David, Chloe's Stepfather. We indeed had to inform him of what we have discovered regarding Mark Jefferson's actions and where he can find the clues that will lead them to the Dark room and the location of Rachael Ambers' body…

I stood there sitting in the same booth reminiscing about that incident, meanwhile Victoria who is now telling her side of the story, has begun to feel nervous, for it was still traumatizing for her to go further into Mark Jefferson's twisted intentions and what his plans where for her on that unfaithful day…

"After Max and Chloe left, I went back to the party to hear Mr. Jefferson's announcements of the winner of the Photography contest… and I was surprised to hear him announced my name…." Victoria all shaken pressed on further trying to let it all out….

(Flashback)… "Victoria..." Mr. Jefferson said showing a smile and with a caring attitude.

Victoria who was indeed hyped up to see the one she has a huge crush on, standing in front of her to congratulate her with a job well done of being selected for the San Francisco trip with him and to have her Photo Art displayed finally in a museum where everyone can see and admire her work.

"Mr. Jefferson…I am so happy to have my own artwork be selected and displayed in an actual museum …much appreciated for my work and effort to be the best of the best… and with you by my side… I know that I am willing to aim higher and make a name for myself… OMG…" Victoria was happy and nervous while reminiscing about her pride and arrogance towards the success she desperately was trying to aim, and with Max not the one being selected for the award, she now has other motives to rubbed it all on Max's face.

"That is great to hear Victoria. I am proud of you that you manage to make it this far… Why don't you come on by to my classroom tonight…this is called for a celebration… What do you say? Just you…and me." Said Mr. Jefferson, while showing a slight smile.

Victoria dying to hear the words that were coming out of Mr. Jefferson's mouth was showing signs of Joy and jumped towards his invitation for some alone time with him… "Yes, Mr. Jefferson…I am thrilled to join you for a celebration…"

Victoria proceeded to continue on reminiscing about that unfaithful night that will forever change her… "I was there all hyped up regarding Mr. Jefferson's invitation, and I didn't told anyone where I was going…and to be fair I was obsessed of falling in love with him all over again…."

She paused for a moment and turned her gaze to the ceiling of the bar and begins to fiddle with her hands, but slowly returns her gaze to the table…and proceeded to tell the next part of her story…

"I snuck away from the party and made my way to Mr. Jefferson's classroom….I walked down the outside corridor of the school building…it was quiet and pretty creepy…except for a few people who were drunk and admiring the two full moons that were up in the clear night sky. I stopped halfway towards the entry way of the School building when suddenly; I could have sworn to have felt someone following me…."

"Someone was following you?" I accidently interrupted her for I was curious as well.

She paused for a moment and turned her gaze to me once more and with a scared look in her eyes… "Yes, Max…but before I could react to whoever was following me…someone has snuck up from behind me and inserted a needle behind my neck causing me to blackout… I don't know how long I was unconscious, but I can assure you that it was not for long…"

I for one can picture Victoria as she was describing her surroundings of that unfaithful day, and the real personality of Mark Jefferson

(Flashback)… "Don't worry precious…Yeah! That's it. Let me take a good look at you…. Oh my…How I love it."

The snapping sounds of a flash Photography coming from a high class camera and in the scene someone who was hard to identify begins to take obsessive pictures of Victoria who was taped from her arms and her ankles, and was lying down in an unconscious position. As she was blinded by the lights that where pointed directly at her, and very slowly she begin to regain conscious, and as soon as she was able to squint her eyes, she noticed who it was that was taking her pictures awkwardly.

"Where am I?...What…what is going on here?" said Victoria as she finally gain conscious, and had a hard time moving due to the medication that was inserted on her earlier.

"NO! Victoria….Sweetie, please do not move…I need to feel your true self image… So please don't move and stay very still." Said Mr. Jefferson who was still taking photos of her, while she was still unconscious and trying to regain composure.

Victoria now realizing where she was, started to shed tears and was frightened for what was happening to her and as she finally adjusted her vision, she noticed the one who was in front of her…

"Mr. Jefferson!? Is that you?" Victoria said while still tied up and was still laying down on her side.

"Finally, I am done." Said Mr. Jefferson as he finally stopped taking Victoria's pictures of her inner-self, without a second thought he noticed her gaining her composure. "I see that Ms. Chase here has finally woken up from her long ass nap." He begin to lean down close to her and begin to brush her trimmed pixie cut hair with his bare hand, while still holding on to the camera.

"Mr. Jefferson what are you doing? Please let me go?... I am scared." She begged and begged, while trying to hold on to her tears.

"So sorry, Victoria… I know it has come to this, but to be fair… you weren't my target." Replied Mr. Jefferson; showing that menacing tone.

"Not your first target?! What are you even saying?" Replied Victoria, feeling all scared

He looked at her once again before making his retreat towards a small surgical table and in the bottom of the table he has four red folders that held his past victims pictures and names; including that of Rachael Amber, Victoria Chase, Kate Marsh, and Max Caulfield. However, two of the red folders still remained incomplete, and those two were Max's and Victoria's folder…

…"I noticed that Mr. Jefferson was gaining for the medication that was meant to drug me for sure…So I asked him one simple question." Said Victoria was fiddling with her empty glass.

Her story got darker as she proceeded to tell more about it….

(Flashback)… "Mr. Jefferson what are you planning to do to me? And what do you mean I wasn't your target?" Victoria said with sad and worrisome look as she begged him for mercy.

Mr. Jefferson on the other hand was pulling out a fresh clean needle to insert the medication with, and in his other hand the medication label shows an average of 10 mg of Morphine that if inserted no more than what is requested can be fatal to the consumer.

"Oh Victoria, my number one target was obviously Max…and you on the other hand were just a substitute for in case things didn't go as plan." Said Mr. Jefferson, while filling the needle with more of the same medication he used on Victoria earlier. "I haven't had the time to chat with Max about her work not being submitted on time for the contest, and her obsession towards one of my peers…" Mr. Jefferson scoffed as he begin foretell the faith of Nathan Prescott and his mysterious whereabouts. He turned his gaze to Victoria and with a simple smile he begin to explain further what he did to Nathan Prescott…

Victoria finally understood on what Mr. Jefferson did to Nathan Prescott, and as soon as she was done taking a breather…she looked at my direction and blurted out… "That Monster Killed Nathan… and the reason for that was that Nathan accidently killed Rachael Amber…"

I already knew what Mr. Jefferson did to both Nathan and Rachael's right after he drugged me and killed Chloe during our investigation of Rachael and where her body was buried.

"Nathan accidently overdosed Rachael and as soon as Mr. Jefferson found out what Nathan has done…He did what no other would have dared to do and that was to end Nathan for good. He needed a scapegoat and Nathan was his ideal target before he moved on to another town in search for his next victims for his twisted obsessions."

Moses without a second thought pressed further. "My last question to you, Miss Chase is how was it possible to escape his grasp, while being tied up?"

Victoria not looking forward of continuing on reminiscing her past trauma cut short her version of the story… "Long story short, before Mr. Jefferson tried to insert the medication on to me, he and I both paused for a moment and heard the sounds of the approaching storm and how strong it has gotten… and without a second thought he decided to go outside to check it out; leaving me behind all tied up…

(Flashback)… "Woo! Did you hear that? That was indeed a horrendous sound of the approaching storm" said Mr. Jefferson as he was turning his gaze towards the rumbling of the bunker's ceiling. "Well, I am going to go and check it out for myself. In the mean time…stay put this won't take me long."

He immediately backed away from her and slowly placed the needle back on the surgical table and begins to make his retreat towards the front entry way of the bunker, and as soon as the heavy metal door slowly opened and closed; Victoria took this chance and slowly wiggled her way towards the surgical table with wheels. She noticed that one of the table's edges was rusty and sharp and not a minute to lose she begin to press her tied up hands towards the Edge of the rusted side of the table, and begin to rub hard her two hands that were restrained by the tape. Very slowly, the tape itself slowly loosened and was able to set her hands free. Once her hands were freed, she immediately held herself up in a sit-up position and begins to reach for a pair of surgical scissors she stumbled upon, next to the needle and started to cut the restrains that held her legs together…

Victoria finally gave a pause and started to show signs of comfort as her story was coming to a close. I took my stand and sat right next to her and gave her slight hug, understanding the situation she has to endure in the hands of Mr. Jefferson.

"Victoria…It's ok, I understand your pain. You don't need to go on any further." I replied with a sweet smile, showing my full support to her.

She didn't hesitate to return that smile to me as our eyes gazed again. "It's alright, Max. I want you to know that Mr. Jefferson was in fact, no more. What happened next was a total mystery."

I glanced at her with an odd look, "What did happen to Mr. Jefferson back then after he left you in the bunker?"

She replied with an odd smile, "I immediately took the pair of scissors and as well have taken the needle that was filled with Morphine. I may have added a little bit more dosage to it just in case. I slowly made my way to the entry way of the Bunker and sure enough as I opened the door itself…I immediately tiptoed my way towards Mr. Jefferson who was standing right in front of the open Barn doors that where on top of the bunker itself. He was too distracted, and was observing horrendous storm that was blowing over, and he as well notice the approaching tornado that was about to hit Arcadia Bay…I did not hesitate and acted with total instinct…"

She stopped talking for a moment and feeling vulnerable she carried on explaining the next horrendous part of what she has done.

"…. I slowly got closer to Mr. Jefferson and immediately jabbed the needle onto the back of his neck causing him to lose balance, and without a second thought I stabbed the pair of surgical scissors I had on my other hand to his chest… He reacted too late; realizing what was going on with him, he slowly fell to the floor, bleeding… and in that moment I began to cry tears of relief. But I wasn't out of the woods yet…The Tornado was getting closer and stronger, and not a minute too soon the winds started to tear the barn apart and it slowly dragged the dead body of Mr. Jefferson towards the approaching Tornado. I stood frozen for a second, until I realize that I needed to get back to the bunker and to seal the hard steel door shut behind me. I was safe inside that bunker for quite some time; I was there for nearly two days, eating nothing but sugar cereal and water that were stored inside the bunker. Afterwards, someone found me… and is so happened to be my own parents with a bunch of team rescuers, who heard of the tragedy that has fallen on Arcadia Bay…and that is it…"

Victoria finally stopped and began to sob so hard that I too began to shed tears as well. Meanwhile, no one dared to speak and stood there giving Victoria and I a moment of silence.

Glenn as always finally spoke after hearing Victoria's side of her story, "Miss Chase, what happened to you was totally messed up…" She slowly patted her hand on top of Victoria's head and gave her a soothing smile as she proceeded to say what she wanted to say all along… "What you did was brave. Heck! You shouldn't blame yourself for the tragedy of this so called Mr. Jefferson and in fact I am glad that you had put a stop to his malicious intend…So, do not blame yourself, OK. The important thing is that you are alive and well. Most important of all you were able to let go of this so called guilt that you have buried within you."

Victoria slowly met Glen's eyes and smiled, "Thank you that really means a lot to me."

"WELL, now that we had gotten all that mushy stuff out of the way, we have another problem" Said Amanda

"That's right, we had to deal with how to restore our campus back since this odd storm did cause major damage to the town…not to mention our campus buildings as well." Shouted Reggie who has decided to butt in to the conversation we all had started.

I was happy to see everyone finally coming together to resolve the issues of how to get our campus back in full restoration. But as soon as we were reminiscing on how to fix our campus…Yasmin Fayyad; mother of Safi Fayyad appeared in the front door of the Snapping Turtle Bar. She looked all sad and was in need of a drink. Not to mention the news she has for all of us to hear.
