In truth, Lin Xuan's power in Six Paths Mode wasn't much greater than before, but it unlocked new techniques he could wield. For instance, the move he had just shouted: Ocean Devastation!
While Uchiha Madara and Hashirama Senju were still dissecting Lin Xuan's method of entering Six Paths Mode, wondering if there was anything they could learn or adapt, a deafening roar interrupted their thoughts.
"Boom!"
From the mouth of the massive dragon beneath Lin Xuan's feet, a "dragon pearl" shot out with ferocious speed, slamming into the Five Elder Star known as the Bald Monk. The onlookers focused and realized the "pearl" was actually a colossal Truth-Seeking Orb!
This orb didn't just knock the Bald Monk, who had been wildly swinging the First Generation Kitetsu, off his feet—it immobilized him, rendering him unable to move. In the next instant, vast torrents of seawater rose from the ocean's surface, manipulated by an unseen force. They surged upward, crashing into the Bald Monk, who was still trapped by the Truth-Seeking Orb. The water rapidly formed a massive sphere, encasing both the orb and the Elder Star within.
The Bald Monk wasn't one to give up easily. He thrashed at the center of the water sphere, slashing with the First Generation Kitetsu in a desperate bid to break free. But no matter what attacks he unleashed, he couldn't escape the water's grip.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
The ocean within a hundred-mile radius exploded into chaos. Endless streams of seawater continued to rise, feeding the sphere in the sky. In moments, the water sphere had grown to a diameter of over a thousand meters, and it was still expanding, climbing higher into the air. Bathed in sunlight, it shimmered with prismatic colors, a dreamlike spectacle that left many onlookers in awe.
"Ocean Devastation? So, Planetary Devastation can be used like this?" Nagato Uzumaki, watching the scene unfold through a live broadcast, stared wide-eyed, utterly dumbfounded.
Meanwhile, Cypher Pol's Steel Bone and Admiral Sengoku had also noticed the commotion from the ocean. But they were too far away to discern exactly what was happening. More pressing was the fact that Uchiha Madara and Hashirama, seeing them distracted, seized the moment to launch a ferocious assault.
Madara and Hashirama were furious now.
Moments later, a thunderous crash echoed through the air. A massive golden figure plummeted from the sky, smashing into a small island like a meteor. The impact shattered the island into pieces, sending shockwaves through the surrounding sea. Terrified, nearby Marines scrambled to flee.
"What just fell? That felt terrifying!" one shouted.
"Uh, if I saw correctly, that was… Admiral Sengoku?" another stammered.
"What? Sengoku got knocked flying again?"
The Marines froze, stunned. Sengoku had been sent flying once before, but this second time still shocked them. Some snapped out of their daze and rushed toward where Sengoku had landed. Before they could get close, Sengoku leapt from the rubble of the shattered island, coughing heavily. His body had returned to its normal size, but he looked battered and disheveled.
Brushing the dust off himself, Sengoku muttered in frustration, "That guy… has way too many arms, doesn't he?"
Up until now, he'd been holding his own against Hashirama, albeit with difficulty. He'd thought he could at least keep up, even if it was a struggle. But when Hashirama got angry and unleashed the full might of his Thousand-Armed Buddha statue, Sengoku realized he'd overestimated himself and underestimated his opponent.
"Despicable! That jerk was holding back the whole time!" Sengoku cursed, fuming. Even with his strength, the barrage of a thousand arms had left him reeling. Who could withstand that kind of onslaught?
Still, Sengoku wasn't one to let emotions cloud his judgment. As much as he resented Hashirama, he had to admit the man'smediator was overwhelmingly powerful. It even seemed like Hashirama was holding back, careful not to destroy the Sabaody Archipelago entirely.
His frustration cooling, Sengoku's gaze shifted to the other battle nearby, where Steel Bone was facing off against Uchiha Madara. Despite Steel Bone's superior strength, Madara, with his Rinnegan, kept him at bay, unable to close the distance. Now, with Madara enraged, Steel Bone was faring even worse than Sengoku.
There was no satisfaction in this for Sengoku—only a grim realization. Neither he nor Steel Bone were anywhere near a match for Madara or Hashirama. If their opponents had truly wanted to kill or defeat them, the fight would've ended long ago.
"Why do monsters like this exist?" Sengoku groaned, rubbing his temples. "Are we really going to lose this time?"
Suddenly, the world fell quiet. The chaos from a hundred miles away ceased. Had the battle over there ended?
Everyone's hearts sank with dread.
Sengoku's eyes locked onto the sea, and he spotted it—a massive water sphere, two thousand meters wide, hovering in the air with an oppressive presence. His eyes widened. The sphere had stopped growing, as if Lin Xuan had ceased fueling it.
"No way…" Sengoku's heart raced with unease, silently praying it wasn't the worst-case scenario.
But fate wasn't kind.
A figure shot toward them from the distance.
"Lin Xuan?!"
Not just Sengoku, but Steel Bone, struggling under Madara's relentless assault, also caught sight of him. Their faces paled, disbelief etched into their features.
