"Kael?" I called, disbelief and shock written all over me. Isn't he supposed to be dead and his body missing? How is he here?
"Yea, it's me. Flesh and blood." He replied, and took a step towards me. He was acting as though seeing him here, and now in Unity pack was expected. As though he didn't die in TwinMoon pack or his body didn't get lost.
I held out my hand to make him stop moving when I realized that he intended to get even closer.
He stopped moving towards me, and watched me closely from where he stood, a few feet from me.
He should be asking me questions, a whole lot of them, but he seemed like he knew already, like he already knew too much.
"What happened to you in TwinMoon pack?" I asked.
"You realized that your mates aren't worthy of you, didn't you?" He asked instead, concealing a smirk.
