The atmosphere was tense as the team poured over new intelligence. Olivia Benson stood near the whiteboard, her eyes scanning the list of names, locations, and cryptic references to "The Eye."
Rollins paced the room, phone pressed to her ear. "I just spoke to a source in tech crimes. They've intercepted communications mentioning 'Hertz levels'—frequencies used to manipulate brain waves remotely. It's not just theory anymore."
Fin rubbed his temples. "If they're weaponizing frequencies, that explains Anna's symptoms. And the disappearances."
Reid, seated quietly in the corner, tapped his pen thoughtfully. "This fits a pattern I've seen before. The use of psychological triggers combined with identity erasure. The victims are being controlled, not just kidnapped."
INT. HOSPITAL ROOM – DAY
Maeve Donovan lay quietly, her body healing but her mind restless. Spencer Reid sat beside her, a chessboard between them. He moved a knight forward, then paused, looking at Maeve.
"Maeve," he said gently, "there's something you're trying to tell me. Something you can't say out loud."
Maeve's eyes flickered with fear and determination. She reached into her hospital gown and pulled out a folded piece of paper—a delicate origami crane. She handed it to Reid.
"It's a message," she whispered. "But it's hidden. You have to find the key."
Reid carefully unfolded the crane, revealing a note with cipher instructions. His mind raced as he read:
