As they walked, Kiah kept her eyes on the map displayed on her tactical pad. Calling it a map was generous, it was little more than a faint line tracing the supposed fastest route to the energy cores. No markers and the terrain detail was rough.
Kiah sighed and shut the pad. They were practically going in blind.
Turning to Naya beside her, she asked,
"Hey, what do you know about Greyreach?"
"Nothing. Absolutely nothing." Naya replied flatly.
"I heard it used to be a small settlement before the Fall," Kira offered instead. "They had it really bad. The first asteroid impact nearly wiped out the entire town. Not many people made it out alive."
Kiah tilted her head curiously.
"How do you know that?"
Kira explained.
