[You hunted a Mutant silverback gorilla (exotic beast) and obtained 1000 gene points.]

[Gene analysis detected: Silverback Gorilla Gene – "Muscle Density Level 1"]

[Shark Gene – "Unlimited Growth Level 1"]

[Blue Whale Gene – "High-Speed Growth Level 1"]

[Beetle Gene – "Hundredfold Explosive Power Level 1"]

A thousand gene points!

As expected from such an exotic beast, it yielded a substantial genetic reward.

What truly surprised Jack was that after taking down the albino gorilla, George, he was able to extract four distinct animal genes from its body.

It had mutated due to biochemical genetic drugs.

In the movie Rampage, the genetic alteration was achieved using CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats), a gene-editing technology capable of trimming, cutting, replacing, or inserting sequences into DNA.

Humans, in this universe, had combined outstanding traits from various animals—such as the unlimited regenerative growth of sharks, the rapid development of blue whales, the explosive strength of beetles, the speed of cheetahs, the defensive spines of porcupines, and the gliding membranes of flying squirrels—to develop biochemical enhancement drugs with diverse gene compositions.

The version that mutated George combined shark, blue whale, and beetle genes.

Thus, after Jack defeated him, those same genes were extracted.

He already possessed the shark's "Unlimited Growth" and the whale's "High-Speed Growth" abilities, so these were redundant.

However, the silverback gorilla's "Muscle Density" and the beetle's "Hundredfold Explosive Power" were valuable.

Still, this wasn't the time to absorb new abilities.

"Let's move—while they're still fighting!"

With Jack drawing the beasts' attention, James and Weaver made their escape, scrambling to flee the brutal battlefield.

Staying would've meant certain death.

Any of those colossal beasts could accidentally crush them like ants.

"ROAR—!!"

Suddenly, Flying Wolf Ralph erupted forward with cheetah-like speed.

In a flash, he leapt and lunged at Jack, jaws wide.

Crack!!

Ralph's ferocious bite landed, but instead of piercing flesh, his teeth shattered as if he had clamped down on solid iron.

Jack's scales were impenetrable.

Realizing his attack had failed, Ralph quickly spread his limbs, unfurling his wing membranes like a glider.

He shot into the sky, hoping to flee far from danger.

"Trying to run? Not a chance."

Jack launched into the air, powerful hind legs kicking off the ground, wings spreading wide.

His massive dragon body surged upward as his scythe-like claws locked onto Ralph's hind legs.

"ROAR!!"

Panicking, Ralph twisted midair, his muscles straining as he launched a barrage of sharp spines from his back and tail like missiles.

These projectiles could pierce helicopter armor—yet they merely bounced off Jack's scales, leaving behind faint scratches.

With a sudden yank, Jack dragged Ralph down from the sky.

The wolf's smaller body slammed into the ground. In one fluid motion, Jack descended—his massive weight crushing down.

Like a meteor crashing down—

BOOM!!

Over 500 tons of pressure exploded onto Ralph's head.

His skull shattered instantly, and blood and brain matter splattered across the earth.

The flying wolf died on the spot.

[You hunted a mutant gray wolf (exotic beast) and obtained 3000 gene points.]

[Gene analysis detected: Gray Wolf Gene – "Endurance Enhancement Level 1"]

[Shark Gene – "Unlimited Growth Level 1"]

[Blue Whale Gene – "High-Speed Growth Level 1"]

[Cheetah Gene – "High-Speed Movement Level 1"]

[Porcupine Gene – "Ejecting Thorns Level 1"]

[Flying Squirrel Gene – "Glider Membrane Level 1"]

Compared to the albino gorilla, Flying Wolf Ralph had fused with more animal genes and yielded even more gene points.

The place where Jack slammed Ralph down was dangerously close to James and Weaver, so close that they were nearly crushed into bloody pulp.

Before they could even catch their breath, Jack had already stomped Ralph's head into the ground.

A thick mix of brain matter and blood splattered across the coastline of Sona Island like spilled paint.

Both James and Weaver were drenched in the foul-smelling liquid, faces dripping with gore.

"Ugh!!"

At that moment, the massive but slow-moving crocodile, Lizzie, finally lumbered up to Jack.

Facing this reptilian giant—larger even than himself—Jack felt a flicker of interest.

This creature wasn't just enormous; it boasted immense offensive and defensive power.

Its gaping jaws, backed by a terrifying bite force, could crush a tank.

Its thick, bone-plated scales rendered it nearly immune to conventional human weaponry.

Taking it down wouldn't be easy.

BOOM—

Just as it neared, Liz, despite her sluggish frame, suddenly twisted her body.

Her massive tail whipped around, launching her upper body forward like a spring.

What explosive power!

Jack instantly sensed a fierce gust of wind rushing toward him.

The crocodile's mouth opened wide in a grotesque arc, lunging straight for Jack's neck.

If those jaws clamped down—and the crocodile followed it with a death roll—the outcome could be catastrophic.

But Jack was faster.

Thanks to his telepathic perception, he had already foreseen Liz's move.

He raised both forelimbs and caught the crocodile's massive jaws in one fluid motion, stopping them mid-snap.

Then, with a violent surge of strength, he began to force them apart.

King Kong jawbreaker!

"Kakakaka…"

The muscles in Jack's limbs tensed like steel cables.

As pressure built, the upper and lower jaws of the crocodile creaked ominously.

Cracking sounds echoed as the bone and cartilage strained.

Realizing the danger, Liz thrashed wildly, trying to break free—but it was too late.

Jack ripped the jaws wider and wider, tearing them at the corners until the beast could no longer close its mouth.

"GRAAAHH!!"

Liz bellowed in agony and struggled with renewed desperation.

Driven by rage and pain, she lunged again, attacking like a creature with nothing left to lose.

"Shh!"

With a whip of her long, sinuous tail, Jack twisted his massive body with remarkable agility.

Jack sidestepped the charge with a smooth, serpentine motion, easily evading the desperate crocodile's reckless strike.

This was the high-speed movement and lightning-fast reaction that the advanced Velociraptor gene granted.

BOOM!!

The giant crocodile, Liz, missed her mark and came crashing down with a thunderous impact, her massive body slamming into the earth.

In that split second, Jack stabilized himself and circled behind the beast.

He clamped down on Liz's thick, muscular tail with both powerful forelimbs.

The next moment, Jack heaved.

He lifted the enormous crocodile with a roar and smashed it down with brute force.

Hulk Smash!

BANG! BANG! BANG!—

Gripping the tail like a weapon, Jack swung the massive reptile around like a windmill, slamming it repeatedly into the ground.

Each impact carved deep pits and left long fractures that radiated out like spider webs.

Sand, dirt, and chunks of rock erupted into the air, blanketing the surrounding area for miles in a roaring cloud of debris.

Jack used this brutal tactic because Liz's scales were nearly impenetrable, even for him. Attacking from the outside was inefficient.

So he chose to destroy the beast from within—using the violent shockwaves from the repeated slams to shake and shatter the crocodile's internal skeleton.

The larger the creature, the more force such internal trauma would cause.

After more than ten bone-crushing slams, the ground around Jack looked like a cratered battlefield. Liz was completely unconscious.

Her bones had been reduced to powder, her body collapsed—limp and broken.

Now, she was nothing more than a giant slab of meat waiting to be carved.
