Time travel is a marvelous gift. Yet, when you leap into a universe like that of American comics, it’s hard to remain your old self—or even to stay alive.

Perhaps being adopted by Superman—Clark Kent himself—would grant you the ultimate guardian. But despite such a powerful protector, I can’t shake the sense of impending danger.

I stare at my personal status panel and read the glowing word [NPC] in the identity column. The label fills me with dread. Is this universe messing with me?Am a side character ..like a random troupe to boster the plot armour of my father?

Fortunately, I possess a unique advantage: I can unlock and awaken various professions to bolster my abilities. However, the requirements for job transfers and promotions in this world are bizarre, to say the least.

"Father, hear me out. The story of how I devoured Doomsday is a tangled one…" I begin, searching for the right words. "It’s every bit as complicated as the time I kidnapped Supergirl."
