In the year 2019, A rip in space, unfamiliar to humans began to manifest, tens of thousands of dimension rifts has appeared all over the planet, humans, unable to understand what is it, and what is causing it, they soon began to fall into panic.
Two decades has past, the rifts has not shown signs any abnormal activity, humans, with their more advance technology, took this chance in order to learn what they are and hopefully, use them for their own gain.
A breakthrough was found. Humans succeeded in taking a portion of the unfamiliar energy from the rifts, this was soon simplified, mass produced, and sold through out the whole world, in order to use them as alternative energy, not knowing that this action would soon cause a disaster.
The rifts started acting abnormally, it was showing signs of opening, the humans panicked and tried to suppress the rifts, to no avail, the rifts has opened, and unfamiliar creatures started to come out of the gate, at the same time, many people gained magical power due to excess exposure to the energy of the rifts, but not all of them could control it, leading to a disease that releases the energy along side the life force of the human. The awakened humans started to manifest their own kind of powers, be it elemental or, physical.
In order to suppress the invasion of the monsters, many awakeneds have fought the monsters, their unsufficient knowledge of their own power was what brought their demise, there are talented people who have already gotten used to the new power that they've gotten, due to the adaptative ability of humans, they've come out on top in the Great Suppression War.
