Chris groaned out in pain after the accident and realized their car was upside down. He looked beside him and found his wife unconscious.
"Dear, dear wake up" he said shaking her gently and she gain consciousness gasping out in shock.
"Oh ughh, what happened?" she asked looking around.
"We had an accident, let's get out now" Chris said as he unhooked the seatbelt.
"You're bleeding" Linda said pointing to his head. He touched his forehead and found blood.
"I'm fine but we really have to go" he replied as they got out of the car.
"This will make it easier for the vampires to track us" Linda replied as went to the back of the car.
They opened the trunk to pick some weapons and as they were picking the weapons, one of the vampires got to them and before they could react, he grabbed Chris by the neck threw him away.
Linda tried to stab him but the vampire caught her hand then hold down her neck then bit her on the neck.
"Ahhh" Linda screamed out in pain and then the vampire stopped then released her and the vampire realized something strange happening in his body.
"Bastard" Linda muttered as she turned to him.
"Wh...what is happening to me?" the vampire asked as he started shaking vigorously and he fell to the ground coughing out black blood.
"I'm a guardian, you a**hole…my blood is poisonous to you people" she said pulling out a shotgun from the trunk.
"Looks like your leader fail to mention that to you" she added then blows off his head.
"Ughh" she heard a groan then turned to see her husband walking back to her.
"You okay?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'm good. Looks like he took a bite" Chris said pointing to her neck.
"Yeah, he's an idiot" she replied then looked up to the sky.
"It's full moon already. This will make it easier for the werewolves to come at us"
"We have the vampires and the werewolves onto to us on the night of a full moon"
"That's not a very good combo" She stated.
"I know that but we have to get to the hunter by all means. But first,"
"We need to get out of this road. I'm certain there are more coming for us" Chris said and they picked their weapons and entered the woods.

At the ceremony, the alpha was preparing the first-timers for their first transformation and it's obvious how nervous they are.
"You should be feeling it now how your body is reacting to the moon. The twitching you're feeling is the transformation happening"
"In few minutes now, the moon will reach its apex and your transformation begins" The alpha explained to them.
The alpha signaled to some people who came out carrying a small container filled with water and it was given to each one of them.
"That is wolfsbane water and you're going to drink it" the alpha said and they looked shocked.
"I thought wolfsbane is poisonous to werewolves" Sam said turning to the alpha confusedly.
"That's right" the alpha replied.
"And you want us to drink it?" she asked again.
"That's right" he replied again.
"But we will die" Fred said this time around.
"No you won't. Wolfsbane can only kill you if you have a sizeable amount of it in your system" he explained.
"This will only weaken your system for some time. This helps for first-timers to be to complete their transformation" he added.
"Now drink" he ordered and started drinking.
Immediately they drank it, they hold down their chest and started coughing and groaning in pain which is exactly the reaction that is to be expected.
"Now listen very well. when the transformation starts, the pain will be unbearable and all you'll want at that moment is for it to stop"
"Don't give up and don't fight it. Own the pain and try to get over it because that's the only way for you to survive this" the alpha said.
"You'll be alright. You're just a step away" the alpha said.
A few minutes later…
The werewolves are all gathered together and they started feeling the transformation all at once as the moon reached its apex.
"It's starting" Kira said as their bones started twitching and breaking.
"AHHH" the first-timers screamed out together as they break their bones.
"It hurts" Daniel, who happens to be the naive one among them said.
"I can't do this…Ahhhh" he added.

The first-timers as the last to transform which is expected but few minutes later they also completed their transformation and turned to a wolf.
Unfortunately, only one of them was unable to complete the transformation and it turned out to be Daniel who lay dead on the ground amidst transformation.
They all gathered round him then all turned to the alpha who howled out and the others howled out as well.
The alpha ran off and others ran after him.

Evan was walking on the lonely road without seeing anyone around but he keeps on walking.
He could feel the changes in his body happening very fast and he's trying to fight it.
The more he tried to fight it, the harder it becomes and it got to an extent that he couldn't walk anymore and started groaning.
"Ahhh" he screamed out in agony as bones started breaking one after the other.
He knew he can't fight it anymore and whether he likes it or not, the transformation is happening.
"Ahhhhh, f**k...Ahhhhh" he screamed as his bones breaks over and over again.
This process happens for fifteen minutes then he gave in to his body then his eyes started glowing blue light.
His body started changing and some minutes later, he turned fully into a wolf then howled out loud into the sky then he ran off.

Chris and Linda keep on running for their lives because not only are the vampires after them but the werewolves as well.
While in the wood they have killed four vampires and three werewolves and there's more coming after them.
"Hurry up, we are almost there" Chris said as they keep on running.
One vampire came out of nowhere and tried to jumped them, Linda was fast enough to shoot him with the UV gun and he incinerate into dust.
"Honey, I have an idea" Chris said as she turned to him.
"What is it?" She asked.
"These creatures don't know the location of the hunter and they were able to track us because I'm wounded" he said.
"Okay, but what's the idea?" She asked.
"I'll lead them to the wrong direction which will give you a clear path to the hunter to wake him up" he said.
"That's not the plan" she said.
"I know. The plan was ruined immediately they found out about our mission" he replied.
"Between the two of us, you're the only one that can wake the hunter, your blood is the key so you have to get to that cave no matter what" he concluded.
"Fine, but promise to stay alive. Our kids are still out there" she said.
"I promise" he replied then kiss her then he ran off towards opposite direction and she hid behind tree.
She stayed for some minutes and could see the vampires heading to the direction her husband followed.
She waited for some minutes more before she came out and took another direction as well.
Linda was running as fast she could and she looked up and could see the cave up ahead and she smiled to herself.
Just as she was running, a force pushed her and she staggered and fell to the ground.
She groaned in pain then looked up and see wolves surrounding her and she quickly stood up.
The wolves are growling and gritting at her and then started calculating her timing and how get to the cave on time.
She had dropped her gun when she was staggering and she could see it on the ground away from her.
She reached for her dagger and couldn't find it either and she looked around and see it on the ground.
"Oh c'mon, you've got to be kidding me"
