Chapter 4
Dominion order was the largest and most prestigious in all of Tokyo. Most of its exterminators were either Crown ranks or Throne rank. Throne rank in dominion weren't many, but Crown rank exterminators were surplus.
Most of the time,they were always assigned with A rank and S rank voids which other lower orders couldn't afford to clear.
The leader of Dominion order, Vermillion....had summoned Dante, the man who was known as the best Crown rank exterminator, and the second in command to the order master.
A knock interrupted Vermillion from the screen he was working on.
"Come in." His voice echoed darkly, his gaze still fixed on the screen. He didn't need to look cause he already knew who was behind the door.
Dante stepped in, one hand in his pocket and the other closing the door behind him as he entered. "You called for me?" Dante asked, placing the other hand in his pocket.
"And I'm sure you already know why." Vermilion said, finally raising his head to look at Dante. Dante raised a brow, smirking mischievously..."i thought you said you didn't want to have anything to do with Blackthorn anymore?"
"Just a brief visit. Let's find out what exactly happened inside that gate. Abandoning a team member is a great crime....and the person who was left behind was non other than zephyr's son... don't you think it's worth checking out?" Vermilion said, intertwining his fingers as he spoke.
"There's actually something that seems extremely suspicious." Dante said quietly, walking closer to Vermillion like he didn't want anyone else to hear him.
"Go on."
"The evacuation team mentioned that he was completely unharmed when they found him, with more than a dozen dismembered fallen all around him. He killed them all, alone...and didn't sustain a single wound...all while being an ember rank." Dante explained.
Vermilion's brow furrowed in disbelief..."That can't be right...an ember rank killing that many fallen all by himself and still remain unharmed? Are you sure he is really an ember? What if he was fake ranked?"
"I'll confirm that myself, who knows what Zephyr could be planning this time." Dante assured.
"If you confirm his true rank and he turns out to be either Crown or heart rank, offer his a recruit request." Vermilion orders. Dante nodded in approval and left.
IN THE HOSPITAL
"Don't touch me." Kael almost screamed at the nurse who was about to give him some injections. Fuck, he was already traumatized from the memory he just read from the previous nurse who just left.
She on her knees, in the toilet....a man's dick in her mouth, she sucking on it like her life depended on it.
Of all places to give a blowjob, why choose a damn hospital!
Being able to read others memories could be amazing, but not when you had to see stuff like that. He did know how to control the damn thing yet and always so flashes of memories of anyone he touched.
"Just let me, I'll be gentle..I promise." The nurse tried to reassure him.
"I'm fine... really, I don't need those." He said in a negotiating tone.
"No you're not fine. You were out for 3 days, your body needs to replenish all the energy you'll need, and for that you need this." The nurse said, her tone slightly harsh. This job was sure hard, especially when a patient refused to cooperate.
"I said I'm...."
"Kael Evernight?" A deep voice Kael didn't recognize called as two broad men in suits stepped in. The nurse turned to look at her breath instantly caught when she recognized Dante. Yeah, dude was really popular with the girls.
"Ohh my goodness, Is that...." She exclaimed, her cheeks instantly blushing.
"Yeah that's me, who are you?" Kael asked, looking confused and unaware of Dante's identity. Kael wasn't familiar with other orders and their members, so he didn't know who Dante was. All he knew were the order names and their leaders, which was no secret to every citizen of Tokyo.
"Pardon for the sudden visit, I'm Dante from Dominion order, and I'd like to ask you a few questions, hope you don't mind?" Dante said, standing by kael's bed.
His eyes scanned Kael and his face frowned in disappointed. He hadn't expected Kael would look to frail. He was starting to doubt if the Intel was even true, no way someone who looked like this was higher than ember rank...flare rank at most. And no flare rank could defeat that many fallen and remain unharmed.
Kael's heart skipped a bit when he heard the name, 'Dominion order.'
Why would dominion order come visit me. What could they want? Does my dad have something to do with this? Fuck him, he isn't my dad anymore...not after what he did.
"Yes, please go on. Ask." Kael replied, snapping out of his thoughts.
Dante turned to the nurse, expecting that she'll take that as a cue to leave, but no..she kept staring at him absent mindedly, biting her bottom lips in an erotic way.
Dante's brows furrowed, "would you mind giving us some privacy? Young woman?"
Dante's deep voice snapped the nurse out of her thoughts, making her burn in embarrassed when she realized she had been caught staring too hard.
"Yeah sorry,. I'll leave now." She quickly apologized,.bowing her head slightly before rushing out of the ward and closing the door behind her. Once it was only them left, Dante, Kael, and a guy named Roan who had accompanied Dante, Dante finally turned to kael...
"We just have a simple question to ask you....what exactly happened inside that void?"
