Chapter 5 - chapter 5 : The Oracle prophecy

They made their way through the winding streets of El'goroth, Kael couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder. The city was like nothing he had ever seen before.

They eventually arrived at a large stone building, adorned with intricate carvings and symbols. Lyra led them inside, where they found themselves in a grand hall filled with rows of ancient stone pedestals.

At the far end of the hall, a figure sat on a throne-like chair. It was an old woman, dressed in long flowing robes, with a crown of candles on her head.

"Who is this?" Kael whispered to Lyra.

"This is the Oracle of El'goroth," Lyra replied. "She possesses the power of prophecy, and is said to be able to see into the very fabric of time itself."

The Oracle looked up, her eyes piercing the darkness. "Ah, Lyra," she said, her voice low and mysterious. "I have been expecting you."

Lyra bowed, her head lowered in respect. "Oracle, we have come seeking your guidance. The Shadowhand is seeking to gain control over the Book of Shadows, and we must stop them."

The Oracle nodded, her eyes glinting with a fierce inner light. "I know of the Book of Shadows," she said. "And I know of the Shadowhand's plans. But I also know that you, Kael, are the key to stopping them."

Kael's eyes widened in surprise. "Me? What do you mean?"

The Oracle's eyes seemed to bore into his soul. "You possess a power, Kael, one that has been dormant within you since birth. The power to wield the very fabric of reality itself."

Kael's mind reeled as he tried to comprehend the Oracle's words. He had always felt like there was something missing within him, something that set him apart from others.

But he had never imagined that it was something like this.
