Introduction Chapter: The Legacy of War

Long Ago…

There was war — not of men, but of gods.

The sky cracked as realms collided. Asgard, Olympus, Helheim, Eden… all burned in the War of Fall. Gods turned against each other, drunk on pride, fear, and power. Titans shattered. Angels wept. Mortals prayed in silence as heavens bled.

At the center stood Shatan, the Evil God, forged from pure chaos. With a single word, he silenced suns. With a single touch, he twisted creation.

Even the strongest fell.

And then — when all light dimmed — the Absolute Being, the first spark of existence, spoke one final command before vanishing into nothing:

> "Build the Academy of Ascension. Let those worthy rise... and those unworthy fall."

The gods obeyed, broken and bitter.

But among the ashes, a prophecy remained.

> A soul reborn in fire.

A blade once chained by fate.

A god not born, but made.

---

Now… Earth — A Forgotten Village

The night was filled with screams.

Flames devoured homes. Demons — twisted, horned creatures — tore through the muddy streets, laughing as steel met flesh. No soldiers came. No gods watched. Just death, and the sound of children crying.

In the corner of a burning hut, a young boy cried, clutching his mother. A towering demon with six eyes and jagged teeth loomed over them.

> "Your fear… delicious," it hissed, raising its claw.

Then suddenly—flames erupted.

The demon shrieked, stumbling back. Its flesh sizzled and split apart as if burning from the inside. In seconds, it turned to ash, scattered by the wind.

Smoke cleared.

A lone figure stood behind it, glowing red sparks dancing from his body. He wore a black cloak over armor scorched by battle, and on his back — twin chained blades, pulsing with divine energy.

He had arrived without sound. Like death itself.

The mother looked up, trembling, shielding her child. "W-Who are you?"

The man turned slightly. His eyes — faintly glowing red — met hers.

> "Kai."

Before she could reply, voices called out from the smoke behind him.

> "Kratos! Come on, we're moving!"

"Target cleared, Captain!"

The woman's eyes widened. Kratos? The name echoed in her head like thunder.

> The God of War? But… he saved us? He's kind?

She clutched her child tighter, watching the man disappear into the shadows.

He wasn't the monster the myths warned of.

He was something else.

> A warrior reborn.

A god remade.

The new bearer of war's legacy.

His name was Kai.

And

alongside his comrades, he walked the path to divinity.

To rise in the School of Gods.
