The Prince slowly removed his hand from his face, peering through the cockpit's reinforced glass. What met his gaze was not the fiery demise he expected, but a horrific barrier—a wall of eyes floating in the void in front of the ship. Thousands of frozen, multifaceted lenses, conjured from ice, had completely blocked the missiles' explosion, staring back at the void with cold indifference.
He turned his head to the other ships, seeing them encased in thick, jagged ice armor.
"I thought I was dead." He muttered to himself, placing his hand on his chest to calm down his beating heart.
"Such puny attacks are useless against me." The Ice Man said, his voice dripping with boredom as he stared at the thousands of drones unleashing countless fire attacks at the five ships. The flames washed over his ice barriers, fizzling out harmlessly in the vacuum.
