Chapter 4 - massacre

Days passed, and the Jing brothers were released. Since there was no evidence, everything was strangely calm. The rebels and those from the Fengyu Kingdom hadn't made any movement. In Tianmeng Palace, Jing Shao was reading some letters. It seems that during the time he was imprisoned, someone sent him to inform him about the movements in the Fengyu Kingdom. It seems that the kingdom has been receiving help, giving it weapons and food.

"Bastards," Jing Shao muttered. At that moment, Jing Lian entered, a little worried. He said in a deep voice, "Brother, the rebel army went to the Fengyu Kingdom. It seems they're planning something. I mobilized some troops and notified the emperor. "Good. We can't stay behind." While Jing said this, he told a trusted guard to gather his troops. The soldier nodded and hurried off.

Jing Lian and Jing Shao didn't stay talking for long. Jing Shao went to give instructions to his troops and Jing Lian went to rush to the front.

"The rebel army has sold out the country," Jiang Shao said coldly to his army. "We must protect our people. We can't let them get hurt."

"Yes!"

With that, Jing Shao's army caught up with Jing Lian's. He rode a white horse, with his silver armor, he looked like a god who came down from heaven. The other looked no different. The battle lasted 3 days straight, neither of them retreated.

The Jing brothers fought back to back, giving it their all, but a sound rang out. That sound made Jing Shao's scalp go numb.

The gate to the Tianmeng Kingdom opened, and the soldiers of the Fengyu Kingdom entered, massacring the civilians in turn.

Jing Shao panicked. There were people screaming, pleading, houses on fire. All of this happened very quickly. Jing Shao ran off on his horse when he saw the rebel army going to the castle. Jing Lian noticed and hurried over as well.

mother...father... Many memories appeared in Jing Shao's mind. He grabbed the horse's reins to go as fast as he could, but no matter how fast he ran, the rebels were already there.

When he arrived, the scene that greeted him was that of the main hall of the palace filled with the blood of the servants. This made Jing Shao despair even more. He ran screaming, "Mother... Father... Where? Where are they?" He didn't know how many rebels he killed along the way. He couldn't hear anything, his eyes were bloodshot. He ran and ran until an unknown time. He saw his father and mother hanging with their arms and feet nailed with swords. He couldn't stand it, he really couldn't. He stayed on the floor and covered his mouth. Tears came out. He covered his eyes, shaking his head. He couldn't stand it anymore and vomited. He wanted to go with them. He looked at his hands full of blood. He really wanted to die with them. He couldn't see anything. Everything was far away, it lasted for an unknown amount of time.
