We join ninja academy at 6 years old. There is actually an entrance test on the first day to check our phisical stats. No one can beat Naruto in stamina, but I still come second, having spent the last 2 years trying to keep up with him.
I do show off my phisical limits, matching and surpassing many clan heirs. But I hide most of my intellegence and knowledge to avoid suspicions and appear more approachable.
At the end of the first day of school, we are assigned to classes. Me and Naruto somehow end up with all the clan heirs. After the school, I'm talking to some teachers while Naruto is willfully looking at parents collecting their children.
After greetings the teacher goodbye, I sneak up on Naruto and push him to the ground and yell " you're it " and start running away. He grins as he gets up and starts running, trying to catch me before I enter the orphanage gates .
I win this round, reaching the gates before Naruto can catch me, but there were some close calls.
After freshening up, we go to the kitchen to help them with the lunch. With only one adult in shift at a time, it came down to us children to take care of a lot of chores.
Kitchen chores are usually left to older orphans, but me and Naruto have proven ourselves capable of handling the pressure to participate.
Our kitchen is headed by the matron headmistress of the orphanage. While the sisters look after us directly, the matron has more administrative rolls.
The matron also cooks all the meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner with orphans acting as kitchen help.
After we eat our lunch, we greet Eveie as she returns from the hospital. About a year ago, she started taking nursing training in her free time and soon even got hired as a nurse.
She goes to the hospital right after waking us up in the morning at 5 o'clock , returns after lunch and sleeps through the evening from 2 to 8. She puts us orphans to sleep by 9 and stands by for an hour to make sure everyone's asleep. After that, she strolls through the orphanage halls to patrol for any naughty night walkers.
She had earned a lot of good will by now, since she donates her whole salary from her job as a nurse to the orphanage. It has allowed us to be able to afford better food.
I spend the evening playing games with my peers while Eveie is asleep. After dinner, it's bedtime. By 10 o'clock, I wake up and sneak out of the dorm to still with Eveie and to let her catch up about my first day at school.
I even enquire about her day and her latest mission. She had already infiltrated the hospital, now her next step would be to seduce one of the promising medic nins and form a relationship to deepen her cover there.

I often sneak into bella's room after night stroll with Eveie. Bella had traveled the world and seen many things. We spend the night with me learning the life drinker jutsu and her talking about the world and concepts of trade.
I go back to the school in the morning. I've even made other friends there, kiba being our new close freind. He has a rivalry with Naruto and me. I'm the best at speed, Kiba is best at strength and Naruto has the highest stamina in our class.
The bane of all our existences is Sasuke Uchiha. He is second in all these aspects, but when it comes to actual combat classes, he whipes the floor with us.
My other friends, Shikamaru and choji also excel in their field. Shinkamaru is best in our class at maths, while choji is great at history.
I'm even freindly with all the girls, but not close to anyone in particular yet. Sasuke's fan club is already forming , don't want to be caught between rabid fangirls.
One day, when we were returning to orphanage while playing " I spy" , saw something and I said to Naruto " I spy with my little eye, a damsel in distress" .
Naruto looked around and saw that 3 kids were bullying hinata. I had already started rushing in, forcing Naruto to rush as well.
I bump into the biggest bully and pretend that it was a mistake and i was just in hurry. By the time his lackys realise what's up, Naruto is here too. I pull the big guy from his legs and struggle to pull him in a tombstone drive like position, while Naruto enages with his lackys.
When I have him in that position, I threaten to drive his head into the ground if his lackys don't stop. Still holding him upside down , his knees over my shoulder, I ask him and his lackys to apologise to hinata.
Under the threat of his skull being opend up, the big bully profusely apologised and posmised to change his ways.
I let him go and let him fall to the ground gently on is back . I tell him " let's leave all the fighting for taijutsu class and let's leave all the bullying for enemy ninja".
I ask Naruto to go on ahead, since we were getting late for our lunch. I turn back to greet Hinata. I encourage her and even invite her to eat at the orphanage.
Ever since Eveie had joined the hospital, we've been eating like Kings. Many of her suitors donate large sums of money from time to time to curry her favour.
We are stopped by Hinata's bodyguard, but I invite him too. I tell him that it might broaden hinata's horizons to see the orphanage and here some stories. I can see that she lacks fighting spirit.
It's because she had never lost anything that she needed to fight to protect. Once she hears some stories of orphans about their dead ninja parents, maybe it will force her to contemplate her own weakness.
The bodyguard refuses outright, but I still invite Hinata to come to orphanage to hang out with us whenever she can. I greet them goodbye and continue on.
From that day onwards, I try to pull Hinata into our games in school, trying to get her out of her shell. We even share our tiffin boxes in break.
In sparing sessions, I've noticed that Hinata keeps holding back, so during break , i requested Sensie to turn to two vs two sparing sessions. I think that if she believes that her inaction is causing harm to her teammates, she might be more willing to actively participate.
Specially if her partner in these matches is a friend of her. She doesn't want us to blame her for our losses , nor does she wants us to get hurt in 2 vs 1 if she remains passive.
Seeing me get close to hinata has also increased my value in front of other girls.
When I turn 8 years old, another development occurs. Sister Eveie is about to get married to a rising star chunnin medic. That chunin has put the work in to win our sister's heart.
He came to orphanage every day to hang out with Eveie and the orphans. Seeing so many of us in the ninja academy, he even started to help us with our homework, helping us form study groups.
Eveie herself has also started her own medic nin training. It started as just her and her boyfriend discussing medical ninjutsu, but soon she started learning from him too. By the time they got married, she is already an official medical gennin.
During their courtship, Eveie and bella exchanged shifts so that Eveie can hangout with her boyfriend in the evening, rather than having to sleep in evening and on duty at night. Now that she is getting married, we get root to send her replacement as well.
After Eveie's mariage to Kotu, they are going to shift into an apartment block right next to the orphanage .
She is going to go to hospitals in morning shift with her husband. She will spend their evening with us in orphanage , while her husband finishes his shift at the hospital and go to their home for the night .
I personally enjoy night strolls with bella more than i did with Eveie. That's mostly because bella is a pervert.
